Chapter 13: Beyond Control, Over limitations

U.C. dusted himself up, as the sisters' went after their own sister who cheered in victory from catching the beloved sugar candy stick. He rubbed the back of his head, and gave out a heavy sigh.

I have more... Why couldn't they just- His thoughts were interrupted when the two sisters jumped their sister, soon a cat fight broke out in front of the group. The candy stick slightly forgotten as it was thrown to the side to be "saved" as a certain flame-colored girl screamed out in agony.

The Hanyo sisters' didn't give way to their sister. Even if she was a tiny thing, she still had a mean right hook. Or was it left? Shaking his white head, U.C. dusted himself off, walking towards C4 he noticed the dark-haired teen was watching the sisters with extreme interest. He put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head. The dark-haired teen glanced at him with a confused look, then heard some footsteps behind them.

As he turned to see who had walked behind them, it was too late. A fist came flashing towards his face with quick reflex that the dark-haired teen didn't have time to react. U.C. though did have time to dodge the oncoming fist, and watched with an oncoming headache. Rubbing his white head, U.C. glanced back at the older man that came behind the two boys with such silence, U.C. had to do a double take to make sure it was him.

Gah, nothing is going to be easy from here on out... U.C. watched silently as the older man, Artemis if he remembered correctly. Grab the maddened teenager and scared dark-haired teen out of the small brawl, then walk over to the girls. With quickness U.C. has ever seen; and silence he may add, the older man had both groups calm down with quick words and a somewhat scary face.

U.C. laughed at the outcome. This gained their attention, and Artemis was the first to speak from the group.

"What's so funny Ugo?" The older man crossed his arms over his chest, with Renee leaning over his shoulder, with the candy stick sticking out of her mouth and the other two with pouting faces plastered on their faces. Cradled in the mans arms, the two girls gave U.C. a questioned look. Wondering if their foster brother had lost it.

Renee popped the candy stick out of her mouth with a snicker she shouted with a smile, "Ugo is fine, old man. He's just weird like that."

The Hanyo sisters snickered and released themselves from the old man's hold with ease. He shook his head and gave the other two boys a quick side glance. They didn't seem to be wanting to get into a fight any time soon. He gave a heavy sigh of his own, and patted his pant pockets, hoping he would find a smoke. Then he remembered from before, and with a grunt he gave up and watched the teens converse.

While Artemis watched the teens converse he could hear a ringing that no one could hear. Or so he thought. He realized that Ugo, no U.C., had indeed heard the ringing too. Just who was this white haired teen? Artemis grabbed his chin in deep thought, but was cut out when Renee ran up to him. Her flaming hair with its' black touch seemed to flare to life, and her eyes seemed to glow with sudden interest. Her sisters too seemed to have the same affect, and when he turned to see the other teens. Artemis noticed that he was too relaxed as the teens seemed on edge.

The ringing did not pass them.

A silver key with a flame and a wolf's face, engraved onto the top of it, with flowers and tiny Sun-glow vials dangling off the trinket itself shined dimly around the dark-hooded figures neck.

The dark-hooded figure stepped out of the shadows and into the clearing, a smile could be seen, but not the face.

U.C. was the first to recognize the necklace and charm and charged at the dark-hooded figure without a second thought. It was a bad move, for the dark-hooded figure disappeared from the groups sight, only to reappear next to Renee. The flame girl seemed confused at first, but then the dark-figure seemed to be whispering something to her. She flinched back and glanced at U.C.. The boy seemed to be stunned in his mid-attack. Not moving.
