Diggy..
It's been about two weeks since I've seen that photo girl Alexi and Pebbs. To be honest, I can go forever without seeing Pebbs. But Alexi on the other hand...
I can't remember the last time I had someone to help me with my problems and succeed at it, I'm so use to handling things myself. I gotta give it to her, she's good at what she does and even better at lending a hand when in need. Though I didn't show that I needed a companion. Plus, her pics are supper dope! She kind of cute too!
As I was thinking about Alexi my phone rang and her name popped up! (Coincidence or nah?)
"Hello"
"Hey Diggy I left my photo lenses at your parents house and I really need them. I've been working without them every since and my pics are not up to part, do you think you could swing by there if you aren't too busy? I really need them or else I would be losing my regular clients and I can't afford that, plus Onika has been on my bumper about her pics and she's my top customer." She said in a frenzy.
"I'm a little busy Alexi, (I lied) how soon do you need them?"
"Look I'm in the area not too far from their house, I need them like ASAP. I'm meeting a client in the next couple of hours. So if you can get those to me before six-ish that would be perfect."
"Alright I'm wrapping up now I'll call you for your address "
"K thanks!" She said before hanging up. I hopped out of my bed jumped in the shower and got dressed and headed to my parents house.
"My parents were away on vacation so I used my spare key to get in the house. I searched all the areas that Alexi was. After a few minutes of searching I had found her lenses on the chest next to a picture of me when I was younger.
I grabbed her things and headed out the door. On my way out I called and got her address...
When I made it to her building I took the elevator to her apartment. She stayed in the heart of New York City. Valet parking, visitors list, music playing in the elevator and she stayed on the top floor. After about five minutes the elevator had finally stopped floor fifteen. I rang her door bell and waited for her to answer.
When she came to the door she had on a white long robe and her curly hair in a bun.
"Hey Diggy, come on in" she said nonchalantly before turning and walking off. I sensed attitude.
"What's up Alexi, where do you want me to put your tools?" I asked as my eyes roamed her apartment, which is dope by the way. Very spacious, she had a view of the whole city! Big Windows, tall ceilings, a chandelier that sat over the dining room table, art pieces that hung the walls, she was very neat and organized.
"Somewhere where I can find them please" she responded snotty.
"Uh you cool Alexi? Did I come at a bad time?" I asked feeling uncomfortable. I guess it showed on my face because after I asked that she just paused and put her hands over her face taking a deep breath.
"My apologies, I just lost one of my most loyal clients to an accident" her voice began to crack as she spoke. She paused for a second as she took in a deep breath. That let me know that the tears had started to fall.
I put the lenses on a table that sat on the side of her couch. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her while she still had her hands over her face. I pulled her close. One thing I didn't like to see was a woman cry.
