We walked around the funeral home examining the place.

"Alexis, dear would you like the flowers over here or put them with the ones by the door? " I asked as we set up the area in which the funeral would take place.

"You can leave them there, that's fine. However you choose to set it up is fine with me." She responded as she fixed the flowers on the seats.

I was saddened just looking at her. She really didn't need to be here, she needed to be somewhere relaxing and preparing for tomorrow.

I walked towards Daniel, stopping what he was doing he put his attention on me.

"Everything alright mommy?" He asked staring at me then Alexis. I gave him a closed smile.

"Digg, she doesn't need to be here. She needs to be somewhere relaxing preparing for tomorrow."

"I know but-" he tried to explain bit I cut him off.

"ah, no buts! Get her out of here, relax her mind for the day, take her out to eat get a room or Whatever." I said.

He looked over at her as she and Nessa finished the flowers.

"You're right, we'll see you guys tomorrow morning! Thanks mommy for everything." He said giving me a side hug while kissing my forehead.

"You're welcome baby, I love you too. Now go on get out of here!" I said shooing him away.

I'm so proud of Digg, he's becoming such a beautiful young man!

"Hey Daniel, is everything alright?" I asked as he pulled me to the side.

"We're leaving" he said grabbing my hand leading me to the exit.

I stopped in my tracks and released my grip from his hand. He turned around as I looked at him confused with furrowed eyebrows!

"What's wrong baby?" I asked now concerned.

"Can we talk on our way out the door? Please!?" He asked walking closer to me.

"But what about everyone else? We can't just lea-" 

Before I could finish he cut me off.

"They already know, come on." He said rushing me out the door.

Opening the car door for me Daniel ran to the drivers side getting in. I just sat there with not much to say his behaviour wasn't rude but it was kind of off per say.

"Diggy what's wrong baby? And where are we going?" I asked seeing we were going in a different direction from my home.

"Alexis you ask too many questions." He said through a chuckle as he placed his free hand in my lap.

I held my hands up. "alright Daniel I won't say anything else!" I said as a smirk formed across my lips.

"Daniel be still!" Alexis said through laughs.

"I'm trying to but it tickles!" I said as my body jerked as the Chinese woman scrubbed my feet.

"You funny guy!" The lady said as she lathered the lotion over my feet and calves. I just gave her a closed smile while Alexis on the other hand continued to laugh.

Putting my socks and shoes back on. Alexis was getting her toes polished so I took that chance to find a hotel online and book us a room in town for the night.
