It's been almost two months since I've been on tour and I muSt admit that I'm beat! I've traveled every single day since I've left and even missed Christmas with my family. Yea, I'm pretty bummed about that. It's close to the new year (five days to be exact). Tonight is my last show then we fly right out and go home.

I miss my family and Lexi right about now. Even though I talk to them every other day, it's just not the same. I've received via Christmas cards from my family and Lexi. She sent me a picture of her standing by her huge Christmas tree kissing a bottle of Dussé under the mistletoe with her green and red pajamas on. Wish I could have been that bottle of Dussé!

I hated feeling like I was missing out, it brought me down, made me sad and I felt lonely. I guess this is the life I chose as an artist.

"Hey Daniel! " I saw a bubble text pop up on my phone as I went through my playlist, It was Lexi.

"Wassup Lexi? " I responded.

"Nothing just checking on you that's all "

"Meaning you miss me?" I responded.

It took her all of five minutes to reply, I knew she was procrastinating on how to reply and to my surprise she responded with a simple yes. That put a smile on my face!

I can't lie honestly, I miss you too Lexi.

"You'll be fine Daniel just think , in a few hours you'll be back "

"Yea I know but hey listen I'll call you when I land it's time for me to go. Don't forget I have to meet your daughter when I get back, I can't wait!" I said ending the message right after my phone rang it was Lexi! I don't know when Pebbs use to call right before I went on I would wait, but Lexi? Lexi get the wifey treatment meaning stop everything just to talk to her!

"Wassup Lexi" I asked pausing in mid step.

"I miss you too Daniel! " her voice was low and raspy causing me to become concerned.

"Aye Digg you on man- "

"Aight can't you see I'm on a call here!?" I snapped back at him putting my attention back to Lexi.

"It's fine Daniel go on-" "no not until you tell me what's wrong!" I said cutting her off.

"Nothings wrong Daniel! Just go perform see you in a few hours, good luck tonight!" She sounded as if she was trying her best to pretend to be happy.

I let it pass for now with a simple thank you ending the call, but once I made it there I was going straight to her spot!

Alexis

I can't lie I was missing Daniel. I haven't had anyone to talk to about my recent problems. I took his advice and held out on quitting my job with Onika just to get fired by her!

Since that day Safari tried to kiss me he's been coming at me more often and she started to catch on so she fired me on the spot even though she knew it was him and not me.

I wasn't mad about not working for her, it was actually dead weight off my shoulder. I got my biggest check from her which was two hundred thousand dollars. I added that to my bank account all together making that a whopping six hundred thousand dollars! It was cool but you know you can never have enough money.

I didn't want to stress Danielle about my problems especially while he's on the road so I just put it in the back of my mind until he came back. I know that he's going to ask me about it but I don't think I'll be ready to tell him especially after he finds out about my daughter. I know once he met her he would really feel sorry for me and I really didn't want his pitty. I just wanted him to comfort me, continue to be a friend to me, and never judge me by my past.

Meeting my daughter will be hard for me to let him do but, he's made me comfortable enough to open up to him completely. I just hope and pray that he understands why I never introduced her to Onika or any of my other clients that I've grown a custom to. I hope he understands why I never bring her around and why I don't really talk about her. I hope he handles my situation delicately and be as supportive as possible.

He's got me to the point to where I want to open up completely to him and hopefully we can grow from that!
