The next morning I woke Lexi up to breakfast in bed, Of coarse it was all healthy.

After she got out the shower I made her stay in the bed and watch t.v. I wanted her to relax stay comfortable and just chill.

"Here you go, scrambled egg whites, toast with light butter on wheat bread, fruit salad, turkey bacon and a glass of Orange juice." I said sitting the tray in front of her.

She smiled looking at the food.

"Thank you Daniel! " She said leaning in to kiss me. I deepened the kiss causing her to moan in my lips.

"Somebody woke up on the right side of the bed! " she said before taking a fork full of eggs into her mouth.

I bit down on my bottom lip as I watched her eat.

"Baby this is GOOD! " she said dramatically!

"I know, call me the CHEF! " I said getting a little cocky. She laughed biting into her strawberry.

She then took a sip of her orange juice then sat her glass down looking at me through squinted eyes.

"What?" I asked with a nervous smile.

"Why so nice Daniel?"

"You done with your breakfast or nah?" I asked getting up.

"Yea you can take it Thank you."

"No problem BABE! "

"I LOVE YOU MORE DANIEL SIMMONS!" she said causing me to pause in my footsteps.

I turned around on my heels with this unexplainable look on my face as I stared at her.

"I heard every word you said last night Daniel. No matter how sleepy or tired I am, I'm always focused especially when it comes to you." She said with her eyes full of tears. I walked back over to her sitting the tray on the night stand.

She stood to her feet immediately wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me into a tight hug.

I was confused, I didn't know why she was crying. I've only told two girls I loved them in my young lifetime and Lexi was one of the two.

Pebbs never cried when I told her I loved her she just brushed me off with a blank 'love you too' that was it.

"Lex I'm sorry don't cry! " I said motioning us to sit on the bed. She released her grip on my neck looking at me with her now red puffy dark almond eyes.

"I'm not crying because I'm hurt Daniel, you just make me so happy. I- I've never had that before, I'm just overwhelmed that's all "

"Oh! " was all I said. She laughed while wiping her eyes looking at me.

"So, does that means you're happy?"

"Yes, yes that means I'm happy pickle nose! " she pinched my nose.

"Oh thank God! I would have been mad at myself for making you cry!" I said relieved!

We sat there in awkward silence for a few seconds.

"Soooo, what makes you think you love me? " Alexis asked breaking the silence.

"Please don't feel offended when I say I think it's just some feelings I've never felt before. You bring out the man in me.

I always want to protect you, make you smile because I know that the things I do for you are appreciated more than expected. Once I noticed that, that's how I knew I was becoming more of a man. This feeling though... it's... it's like... it's like a...-

"Unexplainable but you love the feeling that you get when you're around me. yes, I know. Something like an adrenaline rush, you wonna show your excitement but instead you keep it boggled inside and play it cool! "

I said with a sly smirk on my face as I looked at him being confused in his emotions. I found it to be very attractive.

"Yea, just like that. It's also scary, you know... LOVE? It can make you do some crazy things. Now I don't be being crazy about you but going crazy over you is what I would hate to do. Look Alexis, you different. You're someone that if we were to stop dating I would always want to keep in contact with just to see how you're doing."

Daniels face grew a huge smile as he laid back in the bed staring at the ceiling.

"Lexi what cha do to ME!?" He laughed while looking at me causing me to laugh also.

"I just keep it real with you that's all Daniel."

"Well keep doing that cause I love that shit! " he leaned up and kissed me again then laid his head in my chest as I ran my fingers through his short soft curly fro.

"What do you have to do today babe?"

"Nothing, I took the day off so that we can just chill. Lounge around all day in our pj's. I'm glad I did now I can take care of you while you're on your peepee! "

I laughed hysterically causing his head to bounce up and down on my chest.

"My peepee! ? Ok that's fine with me, thank you Daniel, that's so nice of you! "

"So... are we eating out or ordering in?" I asked.

I really enjoyed lounging around with him. It was comfortable and cozy, very relaxing.

"Daniel did you hear me?" I asked lightly shoving him.

"Yea I heard you. We eating in, Imma cook for you baby."

"We can cook together is that fine? Or do you want the kitchen to yourself CHEF?" I asked but didn't get a response.

I leaned to my left and looked down at him, he was knocked out.

"Aw man! I wanted a kiss! " when I said that he leaned his head up and pecked my lips a few times. Then laid back on my stomach. "Love you baby? "

He wrapped his hands around my hips.

I smirked! That was so sweet and cute and sexy and it just felt so right!

I can get use to this.
