Seven whole days(long chapter)

"Goodnight Diggy " I said as I playfully mushed him in the face causing him to laugh.

"Night Alexi " he said while walking to the elevator.

"Call me and let me know you made it home safely" I said as he got on the elevator. I walked in my door and finally exhaled!

"Diggy Simmons just tried to kiss me" I spoke to myself underneath a whisper. I rubbed the tip of my nose as a smile crept upon my face. This was by far one of my best nights ever! Glad I don't get star struck!

*One week later

Diggy
"Ayo Dig " my pops yelled from the kitchen. I walked in and sat at the counter.

"Wassup?"

"Tour starts tomorrow are you ready?" He asked pouring some orange juice.

"Yup everything is packed and loaded, got to make a few runs today but small one though."

"Ok that's cool, now I'm not going to give you another prep talk like always. You're a young man now I'm sure you've got the hang of being on the road, but I will say a small prayer for you right now" He said grabbing both my hands as we bowed our heads.

"Dear father God , thank you for our blessings and the many blessings to come. Father I come to you at this moment with a prayer for my son, please continue to watch over him and keep him covered in your blood, keep the strength of you in him father as you've been doing on the road and off. In Jesus name I pray, amen!"

"Amen" I said before opening my eyes and lifting my head back up.

"Thanks dad, now I have to get going!" I said heading out the kitchen.

"You just got here not even an hour ago Diggy" he whined.

"I know but I've got some business to take care of " Alexi crossed my mind during prayer. It had been seven whole days since we've seen or talked to each other and I was clearly missing her.

"It's a girl isn't it?" My father asked in suspense. I laughed a little.

"Dad"

"It's the photo girl am I right am I right?" He joked.

"Gotta go dad love ya talk to you later " I said ad I walked out the front door.

Alexis

"Oh boooy my world has changed, and I don't think I could make it without youuuu, nothiiiings the same you got me running around in circles over you!" I sang am along to one of my favorite Mariah Carey song circles. That is until my phone rang with the name HIM popping up on my screen.

"Hi Daniel " I answered as I turned my music down just a little bit.

"Seven whole days Alexi! " he semi yelled.

"Daniel what are you talking about?" I asked confused.

"Are you at a party?"

"Yes I am, I threw a party for myself with myself by myself "

"Look are you at home?"

"Uh yes I am"

"Open the door please?"

I went to open the door and guess who awaited me... go on guess! Right! Daniel,

"Daniel what are doing here? " I asked.
