"Mommy are you ok in there? " I asked as I knocked on the door. I heard her coughing sounded like she was vaumiting.

"I'm fine Peek go back with Daniel and his family I'll be out in a second!"she said as the water ran in the bathroom sink.

I didn't believe her so I twisted the door knob walking in seeing her holding herself up on the sink as she looked at herself in mirror.

I walked over to her holding her up. I walked her over to the toilet flushing it and sitting her down.

"I told you I'm fine Peek "

I didn't respond, I ran her a warm bath and helped her undress. I examined my mothers body seeing how small she had became. I tried my best to try not to notice but, I guess she had saw the look on my face. Not a look of disgust but disbelief.

"It's ok Peek it's alright " she repeated.

I couldn't do anything but hold her and silently cry.

"My sweet baby girl, momny loves you! After I'm gone all I ask is that you be happy, don't forget to come visit me every now and then and to please take care of your father's car." She said causing me to chuckle at the last part.

I had to give it to her, for her to be as sick as she was she was able to make light of the situation.

"I promise, it might take some time but it'll happen." I said as I ran her a warm bath.

Sitting her in the tub I spooned some water in my hand wetting her hair as I brushed it.

"Mommy remember that song you use to always sing to me before bed?" I asked killing the silence.

"Child how could I forget? You wouldn't let me leave out of your room until I did. You would be up until I was at the ending then you'd doze off." She laughed.

"The love I have for you babyyyy, is the love I have in me!

Thanks for my child!"

She sang as I brushed her hair back. I smiled hearing her sing to me again. It's been so long since I've heard it I joined her singing.

"I love you so much mommy."

"I love you too Peek! Now hurry up, get me out of this bath my body hurts!" She said sitting up. I (immediately grabbed her dry towel helping her out and putting her into her soft plush robe.

I rubbed lotion on her to keep skin moist and soft afterwards helping her into her pajamas. After Putting the covers across half her body I laid my head in her lap then turned the tv on.

"Where's Danny?" She asked as she flicked through channels.

"He's in the room with Miley! She's keeping him company."

"Don't you think you need to keep him company also? "

"Mommy he's fine "

"He may be or he may not be, have you asked how he's feeling? You do know this is affecting him also don't you?"

"No I haven't" I answered feeling ashamed and a bit embarrassed. She was right, I've been ignoring Daniel and his feelings since we've got here while he's been holding me down!

"Well you go send Miley in here with me, that child has grown on me already I pm just love her energy. Put the tv on the cartoon channel I miss watching them with you, now I can do it Miley! " she said shooing me out.
