It was late Tuesday morning and Blake had left with the team to Oakland for the game against the Warriors. Madison was getting ready to head up that way with the other wives and girlfriends as well.

“Are you sure you don’t want to go?” Madison asked one more time as she zipped up her bag. “It’s going to be a quick trip we’re literally playing and coming back tonight,”

“Just like I told Blake, I need to go see my dad and Tracy. I should probably meet up with Samantha too since Blake and I are going to Texas tomorrow,” Callie explained.

“Fine. Are you sure you’re going to be okay here?” Madison asked trying to inadvertently find out if she was worried about Liam.

“You won’t be gone overnight. I’ll be fine really,” Callie smiled.

There was a knock on the door. It was Jada picking up Madison so Callie could have her car to get done what she needed to while she was gone.

“Hey girl. Are you sure you don’t wanna come?” Jada smiled at Callie.

“No. I’m good. You guys have fun,” Callie smiled.

After the girls finally left Callie sat down at the table with her iPad and her phone. She needed to get a game plan together. She texted her father asking him when would be a good time to come by and talk about Liam. While she was waiting for him to get back to her she called Tracy and set up a meeting with her.

She was looking at potential places for her to live online on her iPad when her father called her back.

“Hey dad,” Callie said answering the phone.

“Hello Callieope,” Thomas smiled. “Can we meet up for lunch?”

Callie looked at the clock on her iPad. She had exactly three hours before she needed to meet Tracy at the school.

“Sure daddy as long as we meet on the west side. I have another meeting to get to out that way,” Callie answered.

“I can do that. What about Craft in an hour?” Thomas suggested.

“Sounds good daddy see you soon,” Callie smiled as she hung up.

She finished a few things she needed to do at Madison’s and was just walking to Madison’s car to meet her father when her phone rang. She was little scared to look being that Madison should be on a plane and Blake should be practicing.

She reluctantly grabbed her phone out of her bag and smiled seeing Blake’s name on the caller ID.

“Miss me already?” Callie smiled answering the phone as she slid into the driver’s seat.

“Something like that,” Blake laughed. “Madison totally failed,”

“What do you mean?” Callie asked confused as she backed out of Madison’s parking spot.

“She was supposed to convince you to come,”
