The Spurs game was kind of a heartbreaker. It was a big game for the Clippers to see exactly where they were against a strong western conference team and they had ended up dropping the game 89-85. Blake and Chris had both been lobbying for practice time because clearly the team had timing and communication issues, but Doc wanted to give them the next five days off to rest before the rapidly approaching east coast swing. The guys were pissed and the starting five vowed to make their own practice together before the next game.

Callie had convinced Blake to let her go back to Samantha's and she had been back there since Ford had gone back to Brynn before the Spurs game. She hadn't seen or heard from Liam since seeing him at the game three days prior.

"Does this look okay?" Samantha asked from the doorway on Callie's bedroom.

The girls were getting ready to head over to DJ's where everyone was meeting for dinner. It would be the first time Samantha and Matt would really be interacting with each other outside of their brief interaction after the Portland game. Samantha ended up not being able to make it to the Spurs game after having a last minute meeting with a client.

"You look fine," Callie smirked at her. She was wearing black leggings and an oversize gray blousy shirt that hung just low enough to cover everything. "Why are you so nervous?"

"I don't know," Samantha sighed frustrated as she made her way back down the hall to her bedroom.

Callie shook her head laughing as she went into her closet looking for something to wear. It definitely wasn't a formal thing and honestly she really just wanted to wear sweats. Knowing the time was coming that Blake would be gone for almost two weeks wasn't sitting well with her at all. She was losing her security blanket and she wasn't sure how she felt about it.

She knew Jada was going with the guys as was Chelsea. This road trip encompassed the Thanksgiving holiday, and Madison was flying out and meeting the team in Detroit for the game against the Pistons before she and DJ flew into Houston to spend the holiday with his family before the game against the Rockets the next night. That would leave just her and Samantha in LA.

Callie was kind of wishing Blake would ask her to go with them. Sure being on a long road trip and spending a major holiday with him was kind of a big deal for their young relationship, but it was sounding better to her than the alternative of being in LA without him and with Liam lurking around as he hid from the authorities.

"Are you going to stand there and stare off into space or get ready?" Samantha asked scaring her out of her thoughts.

"Sorry," Callie smiled sheepishly as she grabbed her lighter colored camo cargo pants and a baby pink v-neck shirt.

"What are you lost in thought about?" Samantha asked sitting down on the edge of her bed.

"You know the guys are getting ready to be gone for almost two weeks?" Callie asked turning to walk to the bathroom to change.

"Yeah I may have glanced at the schedule. I guess it's just you and me for Thanksgiving?" Samantha asked catching a picture Callie had sitting on the table next to her bed.
