Blake sighed throwing himself down onto the chair in front of his locker.
“What’s your problem?” Chris asked walking up. He was waiting on Blake and DJ so they could go do their interviews.
“Nothing,” Blake said not looking up at him.“Ready gentlemen?” DJ asked joining the two.
“Yup,” Blake spat walking ahead of them. The three walked out of the locker room and Blake happened to catch Brynn’s eye.
‘What did you do?’ Blake mouthed at her with a glare before turning and walking into the press room.
“What the hell was that for?” Brynn asked turning back to the other girls.
“What?” Madison asked confused.
“Blake just asked me what I did,” Brynn said adjusting Ford on her hip.
“Surely you just misunderstood what he was trying to say,” Chelsea offered.
Callie was sitting on the bench staring down at her phone reading her father’s text over and over. That coupled with the nerves she felt going into the game tonight was about to push her over the edge.
“Hey, everything ok?” Samantha asked sitting down next to her.
“Yeah,” Callie said looking up at her.
“Are you sure?” Samantha pressed.Callie just nodded before locking her phone and tossing it back in her purse.
Before she knew it the guys were filing out of both the press room and the locker room. Chris grabbed Little Chris and kissed Jada before the two said their goodbyes and left. Madison pulled Samantha over to where DJ and Matt were standing. Callie watched blankly as Matt and Samantha were smiling and talking while DJ and Madison were looking on.
“Give me my son,” Blake spat still wearing the same glare he had earlier as he walked up to Brynn pulling Ford out of her arms.
Hearing Blake’s voice scared Callie out of her thoughts. He was pissed and she was clueless as to why. Did he know about Liam too?
“Our son and what the hell is your problem?” Brynn glared back at him.
“I told you to be nice,” Blake whispered gritting his teeth.
“I was. I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Brynn said handing him Ford’s bag.“Whatever,” Blake said stepping around her and sitting down next to Callie pulling Ford on his lap.
Brynn rolled her eyes as she turned to walk out of the arena.
“It was nice meeting you Callie,” Brynn smiled at her.
