Callie had just fallen asleep by the time Blake had finally made it home. She had sent Samantha home about an hour before knowing Blake would be home soon. She sent him a few texts that she knew he had read, but he hadn’t said anything back to her. She texted Madison for advice and her friend told her to just leave him alone for a little while and hopefully he would snap out of his mood before he got home.

Callie debated on whether or not she should sleep in Blake’s bed with him or one of the guest rooms. She finally decided to go with what she knew and climbed into his bed hoping he would be okay with it. After all, they were together now so he should be happy about her being there.

Blake quietly walked into the bedroom and gently shut the door. He stopped and smiled seeing Callie asleep in his bed. He felt bed for basically ignoring her after the game, but he really just wanted to be left alone. He didn’t say much to the guys either on the plane ride back. No one was really saying anything to anyone.

He walked into the closet setting his bags down on the island in the middle before sitting down on the bench next to it and pulling his shoes and socks off. He was mentally and physically drained. At the same time he was so angry about how the game went. Angry with himself and a little upset at how the team performed. They were going to have to beat Golden State sometime if they wanted to reach their ultimate goal and playing the way they did tonight was definitely going going to cut it.

He pulled his track pants off and slipped his t-shirt over his head tossing both in the hamper in the corner. He stopped seeing Callie’s suitcase in the corner of the closet. If it wasn’t bright pink he would’ve never noticed it.

It was weird having a girl’s bag in his space. Sure he had dated plenty of girls in the past, not to mention having a baby with Brynn, but no one had achieved the level of having their things in his house and definitely not in his bedroom. It scared and excited him at the same time.

Even though Callie would be living with Samantha when they returned from Texas, at least until she found a place of her own, it was still scary and exciting to know their relationship was serious enough that her things were in his room. Maybe he would clear out a little space in his closet for her to leave some stuff there.

He shook his head wiping the thoughts from his mind as he grabbed his phone and turned off the light and walked back out into the bedroom. He was too tired to think about that stuff. For now he just needed to sleep. Their flight was leaving at eight in the morning. Thank God for private planes, they didn’t have to be there until seven thirty. Unfortunately it was a weekday and the drive to LAX would be almost as long as the flight.

Blake gently pulled the covers back far enough so he could slip into bed next to Callie who was still sound asleep. He rolled over and plugged his phone in setting his alarm for four thirty, just three and a half hours from the time it was currently. Maybe he could convince Callie to drive them to the airport so he could sleep. He would most definitely be sleeping on the plane.

Putting his phone face down on the table he rolled over facing Callie and draped an arm over her middle. She shifted slightly but stayed asleep. Blake planted a gentle kiss on her head before getting comfortable himself and falling into a deep sleep.

Callie’s eyes shot open hearing an alarm going off. She looked over at Blake who was still sound asleep, how he managed to stay asleep with as loud as his alarm was was beyond her. She reached over him grabbing his phone off the table and silencing his alarm. She smiled at the background picture. It was definitely after a game, Blake was standing at the edge of the court in his uniform holding a smiling Ford who was looking up at his daddy and he was looking down at him.
