Chapter 36

"Are you guys flying to Oklahoma tonight?" Madison asked Callie. 

"Yeah. Blake and I are flying to Oklahoma. Jada and Chris are flying to North Carolina and I think everyone else is flying to Houston with the team," Callie explained. 

"They need to hurry up or I'm gonna fall asleep," Jada sighed joining the girls. 

They were waiting for the guys to finish up press obligations and Doc was taking a few extra minutes with the team being that it was a holiday tomorrow and the team would be apart. 

"I hear ya. I'm kinda worried about meeting Blake's family for the first time in the middle of the night," Callie said wide eyed. 

"Are you going to his parent's house tonight?" Jada asked. 

"I don't really know. He hasn't really been generous with information,"

"I can't imagine you will. It will be at least two in the morning by the time you get to Oklahoma," Madison offered. 

"You're lucky. We don't get to Charlotte until almost four," Jada groaned. 

"It could be worse ladies. We could be Samantha and be back in California," Madison pointed out. 

"So true. Have you heard from Jessica? The wedding is coming up quick," Callie asked looking at Madison. 

"I have and finally everything is done. She's still freaking out of course," Madison laughed rolling her eyes. 

"I would be too. That's gotta be stressful," Callie smiled. 

"It is. I think that's why you're only supposed to do it once," Jada nodded. 

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Madison asked looking between Callie and Jada.

"You're next," Jada smirked. 

"What?" Madison asked wide eyed. 

"She's right. Blake and I aren't even close. You and DJ have been together forever," Callie said lightly shoving her friend. 

"Wonder if that's why he was all excited about going home for Thanksgiving and having you there," Jada said thinking out loud. 

"Ooooooh what if he asks you at dinner?" Callie said wide eyed. 

"Stop it. Both of you. He's not asking me," Madison sighed. 

"He's not asking you what?" DJ asked sneaking up on the girls just in time to hear Madison's comment.

"Nothing honey. Good game," Madison said turning and wrapping her arms around DJ. 'I hate you both' She mouthed to the girls behind DJ's back.
