I'm so sorry for the wait. Hopefully you guys are still enjoying this story.

Callie sighed as she shifted in her seat. The beautiful fall day in Oklahoma was no comfort for the anxiety she was feeling at the moment. They were on their way from the hotel in Oklahoma City to Blake's parents house in Edmond. She was too lost in her own thoughts and trying to pay attention to what was what for when she had to meet Ford at the airport, that she didn't even hear anything Blake was saying to her. She would just nod or give an 'uh huh' every once in a while.

Blake smirked as he turned and briefly looked at his girlfriend. He had jokingly just asked her if she wanted to break up, to which Callie absently responded, "Yeah babe,"

"Callie," Blake said reaching over and gently grabbing her thigh.

"What?" Callie asked a little startled as she turned and looked over at him.

"Stop worrying,"

"I'm fine. Really," Callie smiled weakly.

"So you want to break up then?" Blake asked raising an eyebrow at her as he turned and looked at her while they were stopped at a red light.

"Who said anything about breaking up?" Callie asked confused.

"I did. I was kidding because I knew you were zoning out. They're going to love you," Blake smiled as Callie sighed trying desperately to calm her nerves.

"Ok," Callie nodded smiling genuinely at him for the first time all morning.

"My brother and his wife should be there too. They're moving back to LA soon so you'll have another friend to hang out with," Blake continued as the light turned green.

"Marieka right? Madison has told me a little bit about her," Callie said trying to remember what all Madison had told her while secretly hoping she could convince her to tag along when she picked up Ford.

"Yeah. She's cool. Taylor is a lot like me," Blake said turning into a quaint neighborhood off the main road.

"So he and DJ have a bromance too?" Callie smirked.

Blake didn't say anything instead her shot her a glare before turning his attention back to the road in front of them.

Callie giggled seeing the wheels turning and knowing full well Blake was going to have a comeback before long.

"I don't share," Blake sassed pulling up to a black iron gate at the back of the neighborhood and putting in the code. It was like it's own smaller neighborhood and the houses were obviously newer than the ones they had driven past.

"I'll keep that in mind," Callie smirked taking in the large mansion-like houses they were passing.

"Whatever, not like that's something you would ever consider anyway," Blake laughed.

"What does that mean?" Callie asked wide eyed?

"Before you get crazy I wasn't insinuating that I would share you we were joking around," Blake said trying to defuse an argument before it began. She was tense enough about meeting his family.

"Fine. I'll let it go," Callie sighed. "These houses are gorgeous,"

"Yeah. It was one of the first things I did," Blake nodded.

"Huh?" Callie asked confused.

"After I got my first check in the NBA I bought my parents their house. Well technically I paid the builder and they took it from there. They basically designed my mother's dream home," Blake explained.
