Obito's POV
I waited a good distance away from Itachi's house knowing exactly what was happening inside his house. Shisui and Lilian had came forward to me earlier that day to ask if I knew anything about the weird anbu, which I didn't.

Despite the distance I was from his home, I could hear Lilian's yelling.
I still found it hard to believe how Itachi could do that to his family. After the Uchiha clan was massacred and brought back to life, I felt the need to hold into my loved ones. To Rin.
I assumed Itachi felt the same way.

Regardless of the pitch black night, I saw the anbu running away from the scene.

"We need to talk!" I grabbed her shoulders preventing her from running away.

"How could you have done this to me??!! You've seen how in love Itachi and I are!" She screamed as tears streamed from her eyes.

"I can't believe you manipulated me into sending Hidan and Lilian into missions-" I felt dumb for not noticing what her motives were.

"Did she ever complained?? Please! Like if she wasn't offering herself enough back in the Akatsuki!"

"What?" I asked. "How do you know all of this?"

"Hidan, told me." she smartly replied breaking lose from my grip.

"I'm being serious! Who are you?? How do you know all of this??" I grabbed her arms and shook her. Hidan would never share such a private part of his life such as the time he spent in the Akatsuki. In fact, I doubt he cared about Lilian enough to talk about her and the memories he made with her back then.

But all the mysterious anbu did was laugh.

"This needs to end right now! Tell me who you are, and why you stand outside my bedroom window every night?!" I pressed her against the outside of a house. Trying to get answers.

"Don't you recognize me, my love?" She broke free from my grip and used her hands to remove her hair from her face.

I looked at her face. Tried to see past her face covered in foundation that looked like paint to cover up certain spots that were darker than others . But as hard as I looked, trying to find a familiar characteristic of someone I met in the past, I couldn't.

She took a step towards me. "Maybe you shouldn't make me wait outside your bedroom window in the cold of the night. One of these days that pregnant girlfriend of yours might get curious and come out."

"If you come anywhere near me and my girlfriend again....I will fucking kill you!" I threatened her as I pulled her hair.

"If you're so worried about her, I'll stand by the trees near your house then." Was all she said and she broke free from my grip and walked away laughing.

But when you told me the whole story I felt like throwing up Where stories live. Discover now
