Valentina's POV
"What is wrong with you??" Karin yelled at me when we were alone in my house getting ready for the party.

"I don't understand why you're mad at me?" I said in a calm voice as my eyes were glued to the mirror. Applying lipgloss so that I at least could look a little prettier.

"This is what I mean!!" She grabbed my arm and I pulled away from the pain of my burned skin due to the bleach.
"When I first saw you talking to Obito-kun I thought it was makeup. That it was one of your many weird fixations. But no!!! You bleached your skin. And your hair. You cut it and dyed it. You had such pretty hair and natural skin color." Karin looked away looking really sad.

"I think the new look looks good," I said rolling my eyes in annoyance. Karin is such a drama queen. All I did was BLEACH my entire skin with BLEACH, dye my hair and cut my bangs. No big deal. This would get Itachi falling for me all over again.

"You didn't even cut your bangs correctly....why did you do all of this?" She tried to make eye contact with me, but my eyes were glued on my reflection in the mirror.

"You know, just wanted a change." I lied.

"It's because of Sasuke's brother right?" She asked.

"Karin-" I began getting ready to come up with a good lie.

"Oh my god. You're obsessed! I'm telling Orochimaru-sama right now so he can-"

"No Karin!" I interrupted her as I grabbed a pair of kitchen scissors. "If you do that....if you tell Orochimaru-sama.... or anyone. I-I swear I'm going to kill myself!" I scream as I put the scissors to my neck.

Karin stood there shock for a moment. "No don't-" she tried to walk closer to me but I added more pressure to the scissors causing a bit of blood to drip from my neck.

"Promise me you won't tell anyone anything about me and what I feel for Itachi," I screamed at her. "Or I swear I'll kill myself!"

"I promise. Just don't kill yourself. You're my best friend. You're like my sister," Karin struggled to say. Too shock due to how I reacted.

"Okay." I said putting the scissors down. "Plus if me and Itachi fall in love and get marry we'll be like family." I smiled trying to lighten the mood.
