Valentina's POV

The rest of my day was terrifying as I spent it outside, 'training' in the snow, with Hidan and Lilian.
If that could even be called training. Both Hidan and Lilian ignored me and continued flirting with one another. I avoided the scene of the two older members and my eyes scanned for Sasori and Obito.

"Hey bitch! Did you hear me??" My attention was turned to Hidan who sounded irritated.

"Enough Hidan-Kun!"Lilian pushed him. "She's a little kid!"

"Well I feel uncomfortable. I am not sure if Sasori of The Red Sand is sending flirtatious looks at me or at her!" Hidan exclaimed.

I suddenly turned to the direction of Sasori and locked eyes with him. The thought of him staring back at me gave me butterflies in her stomach. A feeling I hadn't felt in years.

"Well you're barely thirteen. Too young in my opinion, but if you say you're mentally thirty-two." Lilian winked at me. "Then you should talk to Sasori."

I made eye contact with Obito as I felt the masked man glaring at me. Did he hear what Lilian said to me? A part of me hoped he did. I was starting to think that maybe I should give myself a chance with the puppeteer. Things obviously didn't work out with Obito and Itachi and Lilian were meant to be. I deserved to be happy, and if that was with the calm puppeteer, then I shall be.

"Do you talk to Tobi?" I whispered at the direction of Lilian. "He's looking this way. He's so weird..."

"Yeah, he laughs at my jokes. He also laughs at Hidan's jokes. That says a lot," Lilian mumbled looking at the direction of the masked man feeling a bit concerned. She had noticed that since I returned to the hideout wounded, the masked man had been acting weird.

"Yeah that means he has a good sense of humor!" Hidan said somehow offended. "My jokes aren't bad!"

I spaced out Hidan's words and turned to look at Itachi. The Uchiha was with Kisame a few feet away from where she stood reading a book. Not even glancing at the direction of the three.

"Hey Lilian." I initiated conversation with the woman I resented. Feeling completely uncomfortable and embarrassed to be playing Cupid. "You should figure out when Itachi's birthday is." Itachi is cute, look at him. Fall in love with Itachi so I can focus on starting a healthy relationship with the puppeteer. I don't want to be alone anymore, were phrases that I wished I could openly tell Lilian. I was tired and only wanted to focus on her own happiness.

"Itachi-San?" Lilian looked at the Uchiha's direction unsure of why I kept bringing him up in conversations.

"Weasel boy?! Don't tell me you like weasel boy, Valentina!!!" Hidan's tone was so loud, making both Kisame and Itachi turning to look at us.

"Stop bothering her, Hidan!" Lilian began playfully punching Hidan's tone abdomen. Only wanting an excuse to touch him.

My body spun involuntarily and my feet made their way to Sasori's direction before I could contradict Hidan's allegations of liking Itachi.

"No Sasori! Don't take her yet!" Lilian hugged my waist as an attempt to stop me from walking towards the puppeteer.

"Yeah Sasori. This is an A, B, C conversation so DON'T interrupt it!" Hidan grabbed Lilian as an attempt to stop me from walking away from them.

"That's no even how that phrase goes." Lilian got after Hidan.

Hidan let go of Lilian, causing the two of us to lose balance and and fall to the snow.

Seeing this, Sasori walked towards them and helped me stand up as Hidan helped Lilian.

"I was hoping to get to know you a little more, but apparently a lot of people want to talk to you as well," Sasori told me and then glared at Hidan and Lilian. "See you around, okay?" He smiled.

I nodded at Sasori's words feeling an excited smile plastered on my face. Was I finally able to have feelings for someone who wasn't Itachi or Obito, after all these years?

That night I was showering in the bathroom inside my room when I heard her bedroom's door opened.
The sound of my bedroom slowly closing as an attempt to prevent noise left me froze in place. I wasn't expecting any visitors.

There was silence from my bedroom as I got out of the shower and began changing into my pajamas. The only sound was the water from the shower running as I mdidn't want whoever was inside my bedroom to know that I had finished showering.

As I finished dressing, I pressed my head against the door dividing my bathroom and bedroom as an attempt to hear for any noise before I got out. Three heavy knocks were heard on her bedroom door followed by someone opening the door.

"I came to talk to Valentina," I could make out Sasori's voice, but wasn't sure who he was talking to.

"Valentina-Chan is busy!!" Obito's cheerful and childish voice was very easy to hear, and I felt my heart dropped. What is the masked man doing in my bedroom?

"Leader-sama said she could go on a mission with me," Sasori emphasized the word leader.

"Well tell Leader-sama that I said that Valentina-Chan is busy," Obito didn't lose his Tobi character. In fact he over exaggerated it to the point that Sasori noticed.

After what seemed like hours, I finally turned off the water and peek out of the bathroom. My bedroom was empty.

When I walked out of her bedroom , I almost bumped into Kisame by the staircase.

"You scared me!" Kisame nervously laughed. "I thought everyone had gone on a mission tonight."

"What? Everyone left?" I got upset. I really wanted to go on a mission with Sasori and regretted not running out of the bathroom as soon as I heard Sasori looking for me. "Even Itachi and Lilian?"

"Yeah. Itachi, Lily, and Hidan all went to the same mission," Kisame replied.

"The three of them together?!" I couldn't help but roll my eyes. How would Itachi and Lilian fall in love if Hidan was third wheeling them!!!

Kisame mumbled something about going upstairs to rest in his room while I walked downstairs towards the living room.

I sat down in the couch in front of the tv and began to watch it a scary movie that had currently been playing before I arrived. My concentration left the screen as I felt the weight of someone sitting next to me on the couch. I didn't have to turn to look at the person because out of the corner of my eye I could see Obito's bright orange mask.
I knew he wasn't supposed to be here. Kisame told me that everyone left.
