Soon enough the vessel was delivered to the hideout. Jigen left him in the hands of Amado after speaking with him and then took his leave. He made his way to the dining table and sat down. He held out his palm and made his wine appear drinking it all afterward. He rested his head on his fingers and thought about that girl.
After their last encounter, he's been thinking if getting involved with this was a good idea. Yes he was confident things would still play out the way he wanted but actually putting her in the plan came with a lot of risks. But honestly didn't mind taking those risks. If isshiki were to get this otsutsuki he'd benefit from it tremendously.
Minutes passed then he stood up. He decided he'd go looking for clues to her location. He knew she was somewhere close to him if she was able to come in contact with him. So first he looked in every area surrounding the base then looked more outwards. Half of the day had passed and jigen still hadn't found anything. It started to anger isshiki at the fact even someone as great as himself cant simply locate someone.
Soon enough the day passed and not a single clue to finding the otsutsuki has been discovered. Jigen was currently on a path surrounded by trees walking with his hood on. After a while, he found himself along a huge field filled with white flowers. As he walked further down he started to feel someone else's presence.
Jigen looked down at the flowers. As he stared at them he began to notice they looked familiar. He then crouched down to get a better look. "They were real.." he thought as he picked one of the flowers. "If these are here could that mean.." he then stood up and threw the flower on the ground.
He looked out into the field but not aimlessly. He was searching for something..more like someone. And soon enough he spotted someone all the way in the middle of the field. Carefully he began walking towards them. As he got closer a familiar color of hair came into his view. Moments later jigen came to a stop a few feet from the girl. She was turned around and seemed to be doing something on the ground.
Jigen watched as she then stood up and turned around with a flower in both her hands being held above her chest. The two stared at each other and didn't say anything for the next few moments until jigen walked up to her leaving space between them. The girl looked up at him and jigen looked down at her. She was very small.
He took off his hood keeping a straight face. "What is your name?" Jigen asked. The girl gave a confused looked then turned around. "This place is beautiful," she said as she crouched down and set the flower she was holding on the ground. Jigen carefully watched her every move. She may appear harmless but she is an otsutsuki.
"Everything here has its own life and spirit.." she continued. "Showing interest in something like that" isshiki thought. The otsutsuki are made for a single purpose. To travel from planet to planet to drain life from it. And with a process that comes with that, they evolve themselves. So the fact this girl was admiring this reminded him of Kaguya and how she betrayed him for her sudden interest in the planet.
"Dont you also think this place is beautiful?" She asked. "Asking a question before answering mine?" He replied. The girl stood up and turned to him. "Your question..my name is Solana" she said. "Solana. Thank you for answering. In return I'll answer yours. I show no interest in this place". He blankly said staring into the girl's eyes. The girl turned her head. "Oh..I see," she said.
"From what I can see your an otsutsuki. Am I correct?" He asked. The girl nodded. Jigen kept his same face expression. Now that hes acually confirmed of the otsutsuki things can continue smoothly. But before anything isshiki had to know why this girl was here in the first place. At first, he thought she appeared for the reason anyone from the clan would. Draining all life from the earth. But that guess began to make zero sense.
Considering she looks slightly different from the clan and from what he's seeing acts different. He truly has no idea what her motives are. "Why have you come here? Just what are you after?" Jigen asked. Solana blinked at him. "I don't know what you mean" she replied. "You don't understand the question?" He asked. The girl lowered her head. He then remembered something. Otsutsuki are sent to planets in partners. Yet he hasn't sensed anyone else's presence near her.
"Where is your partner?" He asked. "My partner? I don't know who that is". "What?" Isshiki thought. "What will you gain from Lieing?" he seriously said. Solana looked up at him. "I-I'm not lieing...I woke up here and haven't left since this spot and there was nobody with me so I don't know of this partner you speak of. I have no memory before that except my name and know of certain things about this planet" She said nervously.
Jigen slowly squinted his eyes giving a serious look."Why did you come here? Who are you?" Solana cautiously asked. "That's not important. Know that your coming with me. And this is something you can't refuse" jigen said. "What! "she thought. "Where are you going to take me?" She asked terrified. "Once your digested by 10 tails you'll make a lot of things happen," He said as he looked up at the sky and then back at her.
The girl eyes widened. "Wha- digested!?" She asked and started to back away from him. "You can try running but-" Jigen words were cut short as Solana started to run away. He watched as she ran. "If she really wanted to get away.. attacking me right here and now would prove effective. so why..." he thought. Seconds later he began to understand.
With no effort, jigen appeared in front of her causing her to stumble back but jigen grabbed her wrist. She squealed in pain as his grip tightened. "A pathetic attempt. If you actually wanted the chance of escaping you should've attacked me right then but you didn't..could it be you don't have the power to?" He asked squeezing her wrist harder.
"Let me go! That hurts!" Solana screamed. He let go of her wrist and she stepped back to run the other way but jigen grabbed her hair harshly pulling her to the ground. Grabbing onto his hands attempting to release his grasp tears escaped her eyes. "Like I was saying. You can try to run but you won't escape me" He said glaring down at the girl desperately trying to escape him.
Jigen huffed as he turned and opened a portal leading himself and dragging Solana through it. Moments later he stepped out into a room. "Let me go!" She yelled frantically twisting and turning. Jigen roughly tossed her on the ground in front of him watching as she slowly sat up.
"W-why are you doing this?" Solana asked petrified from everything she just experienced. Jigen crouched down causing the panicked girl to meet his eyes. "Were you not listening?" he blankly asked. "But.." she mumbled. "But what?" Jigen said as he stared at her. "Why me..why did you choose me?!" She yelled with a shaky voice . He gave an intense stare before closing his eyes and standing back up.
"What a pain.." isshiki thought. "your an otsutsuki and that's all the reason I need" He said walking to the room door. Putting his hand up to the sensor next to the door he spoke. "Don't be noisy". The door quickly opened and jigen left the room.
