~The broken otsutsuki~

Chapter 36

Amado currently was making his way to Kara's dining room. He needed jigens approval for some of his new testing devices. He walked into the room to find the empty chair jigen were usually in this time of day. It wasn't a complete shock he wasn't there considering Amado hasn't heard from his leader all day. The only reason he made the way to the living room all the way from his lab was because jigen wasn't answering his calls.

Amado sighed and turned back around headed to his lab. He sat in his lab seat and reviewed the data on his new devices. "He must've went out. Why does he always turn his communication device off when he leaves?" He said pinching the bridge of his nose.

Solana jittered in her sleep causing her to wake up. She stretched her head and arms up then yawned. Feeling something on top of her she looked to find a sleeping jigen still lying on his back head resting on her lower stomach. A blush crept onto her face remembering how he got there. She was surprised he hasn't woken up before her.

She could tell they've had to been asleep for almost the entire day and he would never sleep for for than a few hours. Solana kept her eyes on him marveling upon his resting features. "He looks so comfortable. Relaxed even" she thought taking both her hands then placed them on the sides of his face.

Moments later jigen lowly grunted and moved causing solana to immediately retract her hands. She watched as he blinked a few times before starting to sit up. "Oh no he's awake! What do-" . As jigen sat up he accidentally took hold of solanas thigh unaware she was under him. Solanas face instantly darkened as she let out a loud weird and questionable sound.

Jigen turned around to find the one otsutsuki covering her mouth with wide eyes. Jigen gave a confused expression. He was positive she wasn't right there when he fell asleep and he most definitely weren't laying down. The two stared at each other for a couple seconds before jigen sighed. "I'm at a loss for words" he said turning back around unaware she was still under his hold.

He wasn't the only one at a loss of words for Solana couldn't muster to say a single thing. She was too shocked by his hand. Seeing he was still unaware where that hand was she slightly moved her leg getting his attention. Jigen looked to his hand to find what it was holding. He then looked back to solana and took his hand away. He watched as she sighed in relief.

"Solana. I'm almost certain I fell asleep sitting up. And you over there on the bed" he said standing up. "That's true.. I just thought you needed to be laying down. You never want to sleep in your bed" she said looking up at him. Jigen stared down at her. Isshiki wondered how long he's been asleep and why didn't he wake up sooner. He then realized the way he woke up and how solana was behind him.

"What did you do?" He suspiciously asked. "What do you mean? I haven't done anything" Solana replied sitting up. "What we're you doing while I was asleep for you to be right behind me" he said. Solana blinked wide eyed at him. She then looked to the side clearly embarrassed. "Well? I want to know why. Tell me" jigen said in a demanding manner. "I..I.. thought you needed to be laying down. So I..tried to lay you down but you fell on me" solana stumbled out.

She was a blushing mess and avoided jigens gaze. "What does that explain?" He asked slightly angry. Solana picked up on his tone and looked at him. "When you fell on me i couldn't lift you off..you were too heavy and I fell asleep. That's why you woke up the way you did with me behind you" she said. Jigen eyes widened finally understanding. Just then jigen felt amado calling for him. Jigen closed his eyes. "I see. We will finish this discussion later" he said walking to the door and leaving the room.
