Chapter 37

Jigen made his way down to Amados lab where he had been called. He entered and saw Amado on his tablet who looked up and sighed. "I'm not even gonna ask where you been all day" he said pinching the bridge of his nose. Jigen stared at him. "So I've been asleep all day. Unbelievable" isshiki thought. "What is it?" jigen said as he walked up to Amado.

"It's about-" he started to speak but stopped to take a call from delta. "Hold on" amado said and stepped away taking to call. Jigen stared at amados back. "Ok. Ok. I'll be there in a minute" amado said ending the transmission. He sighed and turned to jigen. "Geez. Forgive me jigen deltas going on about her leg from the recent check up. I have to go see what's up with her" he said.

"It's alright. Find me later to talk about what you needed" he said and started to walk out.  "Will do" Amado replied watching him leave. He then went to find delta. Jigen entered the dinning room and sat down at the table. He stared at nothing before closing his eyes and crossing his arms. "He's so Predictable. Not even bothered to hide your chakra"  He thought. Seconds later code jumped out from around the corner in attempt to strike jigen but he swiftly stopped his attack and sent him flying to the wall.

"How!?" Codes yelled as he stood up. "You still need practice. I could see right through that" jigen said crossing his arms again. Code scratched his head. "Yea I suppose so" he said and left the room. About 10 minutes later Amado walked in. "Goodness the temper on that girl" he said sighing and rubbing his neck where delta just chocked him. Jigen stared at him. "I take it all went well?" He asked. Amado laughed. "Nothing goes well when deltas upset. I don't know what went wrong with her or if it's just there women temper. But anyways what I wanted to speak to you about" he said walking towards jigen who made a chair from his space pocket appear beside him.

Amado nodded in thanks and sat down. "About your upcoming check up. Will you be available for it. " he said. "Available when?" Jigen asked. "I was hoping early tomorrow. Before the rest of the bunch is up and at it". Jigen closed his eyes. "That time is perfect" he said. Amado nodded. "Alright then. I was trying to talk to you about it all day. Where have you been?" Amado asked. "I thought you weren't gonna ask about it" jigen replied.

"Ha. I said that didn't I" Amado said scratching his beard. Jigen looked at him. "I was recuperating in my room" he said not wanting to explain how he'd been asleep the entire day. "Hm. Makes sense. I'm sure you have a lot on yours shoulders already with the vessel and everything" he said. "Yes but I have all of Kara to share the weight of the vessel with me. Speaking of. Are there any further updates on the vessel from kashin koji?" jigen asked. "I haven't received anything from him since his last call in" Amado said.

"I see" jigen responded looking at the table. Amado stood up. "I should get back to my lab. I have to go over deltas leg structure again. Since she's complaining about it of course. Don't forget about tomorrow" Amado said and left the room. Jigen looked at the doorway as he watched him leave. He then stood up and left as well.

Solana sat on the couch hugging her knees. Ever since jigen left a few hours ago she's been worried he was upset with her about what happened. Solana sighed and lifted her head up. As she stared at the ceiling she thought about all the places she's been to these past few years. "There's the ocean, the flower field, the festival, oh and that food place!" She thought remembering how good the food was. She wish she could go again but didn't want to ask jigen.

"Hmm where else have I been?" She thought. A flashback of the place jigen keeps the 10tails came up. She remembered seeing carvings on huge wall after jigen kicked her back. "those horns. I wonder.." . The door to the room suddenly opened. Solana looked to see jigen walk in. She immediately stood up. "Your back" she said. He walked past her and sat on the couch. Solana looked at him.

"Jigen about earlier it wasnt my intention for that to happen. I thought the outcome would be something else" she said. Jigen looked at her. "Something else like what?" He asked. Solana shifted on her feet. "Well.." she said looking to the ground. She didn't want to explain the details but knew she had to so he wouldn't be upset. "I just thought you should be laying down when you were sleeping but when I tried to move you you fell on me and I couldn't lift you off so.." she said. "You should've just woken me up. So Why didn't you?" He asked.

Solana stared at him. "Because" she mumbled. "I cant hear you" He said. "Because you looked peaceful" she said. His eyes slightly widened. "Peaceful. What made you think that?" He asked resting his cheek on his fist. "Well.." solana said as she blushed remembering all the events. "Come on!" She thought grabbing her head. "say it!" . Jigen watched with a confused expression. Solana was too embarrassed to confess to him she was staring at his features while he was asleep. She thought he wouldn't ever sleep around her for sure.

Moments passed as neither solana or jigen said anything. Jigen was about to say something until solana turned around and walked to the bed. She slammed her face right into it and screamed. Jigen eyes widened as he didn't know what she did that for. He then remembered how Amado said something about "women's temper". "She's frustrated by my question?" Isshiki thought. That was truly unexpected.

Solana raised her head and turned to jigen only to see him staring at her a bit concerned. "There's no need to get so worked up solana. Calm down" jigen said staring at her wondering how she would respond. Solana blinked at him before sighing and sitting down. Jigen gave a small smile to see his choice of words and tone worked in taming her "women temper". "Your right jigen" solana thought and smiled.

That scream allowed her to let out some frustration at herself. "What made me think that!" Solana confidently said gaining jigens attention again. "Your face and body were relaxed. You seemed to be very comfortable in the position you were in" solana said. The two stared at each other before solana turned around and covered her mouth. "I said it!" She thought happily.

Meanwhile jigen didn't blink or move as he recalled the way he woke up. The words "you seemed to be very comfortable" replayed in his head. He must've actually been comfortable sleeping like that if he managed to stay asleep all day. "I don't get it. Was it her?" Isshiki thought. He placed his fingers to his head and sat back. "It's not important. So what if she was the cause. It means nothing" he thought.

Solana turned around and saw jigens taken back expression. Solana stared at him with a straight face. "Can I ask something?" She asked. Jigen looked at her. "What is it?" He said. "Could it be that my embrace made you relax?" She asked.
