Isshiki could tell from when he first saw her she was not an old otsutsuki. Then when he found out she had no power it didnt cross his mind the impact it might have at that moment. Because of that he knew he needed to make her stronger even if it was just a little. So he began taking her to his dimension to toughen her up. She obviously questioned on why he was doing it and he answered truthfully.
In the beginning it was a clearly unfair match. It was him constantly attacking the girl who had no way of fighting back. But that didnt go on for long because months later he noticed a difference in her strength. She became more aware and faster. It would still never amount to his or any otsutsuki he knew strength but it was decent enough.
As the years went by shes gotten nothing but stronger. She even managed to unlock the otsutsuki power of creating chakra rods. During the 5 years she and him have battled he never again saw that particular ability of creating the diamond shaped pillar. It was quite odd but he simply pushed the thoughts to the side.
The time they wernt fighting each other they'd usually just sit and talk. Its usually because from time to time he'd take her to the ocean and sometimes to walk when it's dark only because solana request it be a "parting gift". And she acually convinced him with that. It took a long time until isshiki eventually gave in.
Jigen glanced at Solana as she looked out in front of her. He had to admit..the time spent with this girl was acually enjoyable. He never would've guessed six years ago he'd be where he was now. Mind filled with moments with her. Moments that are bound to dissapear..as if nothing ever happened.
"Oh..that's right" Solana thought then looked at jigen to already find his eyes on her. The two stared at each other before he softly shut his eyes then looked back in front of him. "Jigen. I just remembered I wanted to ask you something" she said.
"Hmm?" He responded. "I've finished reading all the books on the shelf so could you replace them again?" she asked. "That would make it the 10th time I've done it. I'm impressed you acually stayed intrested in reading this long" he said. "When your not here it's the only thing to keep me busy" she said. "I see.." he replied.
Solana then stood up. "On the subject of busy..that's why you havent been around the past few days. You've been working with your group right?" She said. "That's right" jigen replied. She gave a small hum and turned around to him. "Now that I think of it..you've never told me anything about them personally". "You never asked about them" he said. "That's true.." she thought then sat back down.
"Kara is the name if I remember correctly. It's funny. It almost sounds like karma" Solana said and slightly laughed. He looked at her. "I can only hope they've gotten strong. From the sound of your plans you'll need strength. And dying for nothing..would make me sad even after death" she said and looked at the ground with a small smile.
"So she has been thinking about it" isshiki thought. "What am I saying.. I'm making it sound like I'm scared to die. I've already accepted this theres no point in speaking about it at this point in time" she thought. The girl has told herself that countless times for the past 5 years but even with that the feeling she kept deep within herself wouldnt be affected.
Mintues of silence passed until she looked up at jigen. "Let's go to your dimension" she said. "I recall telling you that your current strength is sufficient. Why put yourself through more knowing you'll only end up hurt" he said. Solana gave a shocked expression then smiled. "Could you..be concerned you'll end up hurting me?" She asked.
Jigen just closed his eyes and didnt reply. Solana stared at him before standing up and walking foward. "Or...are you afraid of getting hurt by me" she said. The room then went dead silent. Seconds later jigen gave a small smirk. "You..have you forgotten how badly I beat you last time? You wernt able to put a single scratch on me. Surely you dont think you'll be able to inflict any damage this time around" he said.
Solana looked at him. "That is true..but since then I've been thinking over it" she said. Jigen looked at her. "What is she talking about?" Isshiki thought. He wasnt going to pay this otsutsuki any mind until she said those words. At this point he was too interested to back down.
Jigen then stood up and slightly laughed. "I guess indulging in this wont hurt" he thought and stuck his palm out creating a portal. Both solana and jigen stared at each other as the portal quickly swallowed them up. Moments later Solana stepped out onto a familar solid ground. Solana watched as he jumped back a few feet from her.
The last time they fought he did beat her badly so she memorized some of the attacks he used frequently during the battle and found a way to counter attack a certain one. Her lips slightly tugged into a small smile as she stared at him from the fact she acually got him to take her here. She knew he wasnt going to pay her any attention since he really did say she didnt need any more training.
That's why she provoked him with her words about being "afraid she'd hurt him" knowing that would make him intrested on the topic. But theres also another reason she wanted to show him her new attack. "Just you watch.." she thought. Solana wanted to show jigen he didnt waste his time In making her stronger. She didnt understand why she felt that way though considering the only reason she needed to be more powerful is for 10tails.
"What's with that look?" Isshiki thought. Mintues passed of just staring between the two before Solana slightly bent down into a postion ready to attack. Jigen stared at her with a straight face. He then rememberd her words about this ace of hers. Moments later he lowly chuckled and got into a stance as well.
