~The broken otsutsuki~

Chapter 43

Hours later jigen opened his eyes. Realizing he fell asleep he looked at solana to find her still asleep. Her head rested on the cushion of the couch. She no longer had jigens arms in her hold which was quite the relief to him. He stood up gently ensuring to not wake her and left the room. He's been in there a few days and decided he'd go check up on Amado. 

Walking down the hall entering his laboratory he found the man holding his tablet. Amado looked at him with a straight face. "Oh. Good to see you jigen. I hope you rested well" Amado said. "I feel quite refreshed. Has anything occurred while I was recovering?" Jigen asked. Amado scratched his head. "Yea. It's delta. She returned from her mission upset talking about killing the hokage and whatnot. I tried figuring out what happened but she threatened me again. I swear the temper on that girl"

"I see. Where is she now?" Jigen asked. "In the living room along with Boro and code. They seem not to be helping the situation" Amado said and sighed. "Let's go," jigen said and turned around. Amado followed and the two made their way to Kara's living space. Upon entering jigen heard deltas ranting. "I don't mind killing you along with the Hokage!" She yelled. "That's enough delta" jigen said entering the room.

Everyone looked at him. "What a mess. I thought I told you to follow Koji kashin's lead when it came to this mission. Where is he?" He said. "He's lying low inside the leaf. Probably still keeping an eye on Kawaki" delta answered. "Wasn't the mission to recover the vessel before the leaf could get to him? What's Koji doing!?" Boro added. "Naturally I was going to receive Kawaki as the mission was. But Koji stopped me! He said he wanted to let him go in order to get more intel" Delta said.

"Intel?" Jigen questioned. "The karma!" She yelled putting her arms out. "There's someone aside from you and Kawaki who has it" she said. "What?" Jigen said. "After momoshiki died we checked up on the Hokage and he didn't seem to have karma on him. Could it be that Uchiha!?" Code asked "No it's the Hokage's son Boruto Uzumaki," delta said. "Are you sure about that?" Amado asked. "There's no mistake" delta reassured. Jigen looked to the ground.

"Boruto Uzumaki. The Hokage son" jigen mumbled to himself. He did not see a problem like this occurring. Another karma is embedded on another boy. "I saw Kawaki and Boruto get a boost in power when their karmas resonated. There's no mistaking it. It's a real karma" Delta said. Jigen smirked. "This is unexpected news—that momoshiki. You did manage to leave behind your very own vessel before you died" he said.

"What do you think of this?" Amado asked jigen. What Kara didn't know was jigen already had an Otsusuki to feed to 10tails instead of the original plan of feeding himself to that beast. He never expected the possibility of another vessel showing up. And not just any vessel. Momoshiki's vessel. He would grow to be a powerful otsutsuki indeed. He was sure his otsutsukification was more than 50% complete. That by itself could consider him a full otsutsuki having plenty more power than Solana. 

"Momoshiki saved us the trouble of having myself be eaten by 10tails. Instead, we will capture Boruto Uzumaki and feed him to 10tails" jigen said. "What! Are you sure about that jigen. It would be taking a huge and unnecessary risk! Let's just retrieve Kawaki and-". Amado stopped talking as jigen started to walk away. "I've already taken unnecessary risks. It's an easy target really. I will be the one who'll Retrieve the vessel as well as the Hokage's son. You needn't worry a thing" he said then exited the room.
