"I don't..I don't know why. I don't think it's that important" solana said. "It is of such importance I know solana" he said as he stuck his hand out. A glass of wine appeared and he swiftly gulped it down. Solana stared at the cup which was now refilled then looked down. Ever since that night years ago at the festival when she thought of jigen as she learned about connections a certain feeling seems so constantly come over her in his presence.

She could never figure out exactly what is was so she brushed it off each time. Until now as jigen described it as "getting flustered" over him. Which is something she does. Solana looked at jigen and watched as he finished yet another glass of wine. She knows she shouldn't feel anything for the man after what he's planning on doing. "What do I think of you.." she thought as she gently hugged herself.

"It must be the human in me. I have human emotions I dont know anything about or how to control. But even if I knew what this feeling was. If I knew how to control it. Would it change anything? Would I want to still accept it?" She thought. Jigen looked at her. He could see whatever it is she was thinking about was concerning. "Just what is it i have for you. is it fondness? Is it your acceptance I'm craving? But why. Why do I care? He wouldn't care".

"For now what you've given me will suffice. But I will need you to answer my question in due time" jigen said snatching solana from her thought. She stared at his now glossy eyes which gave the look of restlessness and exhaustion. "Are you tired? Would you like to use your bed?" Solana asked. "I'm fine where I am". Solana nodded and laid down on her side facing jigen.

"What would he do to me if I told him what I was feeling? Kill me. No he needs me for his plans. That's made very clear" she thought staring at the man who she didn't know what asleep or awake. His eyes gently rested shut and he remained still in his usual position. Cheek resting on the back on his knuckles. "Why must you sleep like that. It has to be bad your not laying down" solana thought as she furrowed her eyebrows worriedly.

Solana stood up and made her way to jigen. She was simply gonna wake him up and tell him to sleep in his bed. She knew he probably would refuse but it would be worth a try. "Jigen" solana said staring at him. No response. She then poked his shoulder but still no response. She was surprised he hasn't woken up from just feeling she was near it. He must really be tired.

Solana pondered on what she could do not wanting to leave him like that. After a few moments she thought of something. If he couldn't lay down in his bed he can just lay down on the couch. "Right!" She thought pleased with her idea. Solana got on the couch next to jigen and grabbed his shoulder with the intention of gently pulling him down but was having trouble. "How is he so heavy but looks so scrawny?" She thought. She then sighed trying again only this time wrapped her arms around both his shoulders and pulled him over.

She succeeded in moving him only she fell back causing jigen to do the same. Solana gasped in surprise when she realized how the two were laying. Jigen was on his back laying between solanas legs one arm across his chest the other limp off the couch. His head rested on her stomach with his eyes still closed. A deep blush took over solanas face. She didn't expect this to happen. She tried to move from under him but couldn't as now that he was laying down he became heavier.

Solana stared at jigens form. The heavenly aroma of sandlewood engulfed solanas nose a scent she seems to always smell on him. As his long black hair which was neatly secured in a ponytail spread over between his shoulder and solana and his lips slightly parted Solana couldn't help but forget just who jigen was and what he was planning to do. In that moment it didn't matter.

Moments later solana grabbed jigen and pulled him up as much as she could. She kept her small arms under his embracing him. She thought of nothing as she closed her eyes taking in the warmth his body was emitting and without realizing she herself fell asleep.
