Chapter 4

Naruto's POV

Sasuke Uchiha standing in his massive office room with a cigarette in his hand. Turning around and seeing me he takes on last puff and and then he stops smoking. He's in his formal suit making him look like a boss like he already is. Even talking to a person like him face to face is a big deal for commoners like us.

His face has no expression in it but a cold look. He says coming ahead to his chair,"Smoking in front of someone who is going to work under me is unprofessional." I just keep staring at him not knowing how to interact with him.

He takes his seat and tells me pointing to the chair in front of him,"You can have that seat." I nod and sit on the chair that is facing him. He speaks,"I heard the board decided to make you a regular player in the team. Congratulations for that, Mr. Namikaze."

I nod and reply to him,"Thank you for congratulating me. I'm quite honoured to play in your club." Sasuke says nodding and taking a file out of the shelf. He takes a look on it. He says while his eyes are on the document in his hand,"Now you have to move here as soon as possible."

I tell him being extremely nervous,"About that, you told me that you are going to help me to find a place for me to stay." Sasuke says tapping on his chin,"I didn't forget about that. I took a look on your background. Your parents died and the bank took everything from you. Now you have nothing except for your talent."

I feel embarrassed hearing him saying about me like that. I feel like he could talk more generously. I lower my head swallowing the lump in my throat. Sasuke says,"You have no property in your name and the little amount of money kept in your back account won't be any help in this city."

I tell him feeling so low in front of him,"I'm aware of that Mr. Uchiha. That's why I'm asking for your help. I can pay later for your help. Right now I want you to give me a place to live. It's like a favour, no! It's a loan."

He looks at me with amusement. He says,"Yeah I understand. I already gave you my word that I'll help you. But right now finding an apartment for you will be hasty and troublesome." I look at him feeling despair all of sudden.

He notices my expression and says right after that,"No need to give your hope up that easily. I'm wanting to help you because of your talent. I'm offering you to stay in my penthouse for the time being. After you find an suitable apartment for you, you can move out."

My eyes were about to pop out hearing his offer. I stutter,"B-But living in a p-penthouse is going to be expensive. I won't be able to bare that." Sasuke replies,"You are going to share the penthouse with another person." I ask him,"With whom?" Sasuke replies,"With me."

I look at him being surprised. How can he offer something like that to a stranger? I tell him feeling frustrated and surprised,"Thank you for your generosity but is it going to be okay for you? How much I have to pay for that?" He says,"It'll be fine. About your payment, we'll discuss later about that. Don't worry I won't ask for too much."

After talking to Sasuke Uchiha I left the huge building which the Uchiha company uses as their main state. This man just offered me his penthouse. I'm sure it is made of such expensive things that I only can imagine.

The whole ride the only thought that were floating on my mind is about the payment. I agreed to him after hearing him assuring me that the payment will be cheap but how cheap that can be? Even the meaning of cheap can be different to me from him.

I can't afford to live here one more day, in this hotel. I called Mr. Nara like Mr. Uchiha instructed me to do. He's on his way. He's going to take me to the penthouse of Sasuke Uchiha. I can't even believe that my life is taking a turn like that.

"Is that all you have?" Shikamaru says to me seeing the only luggage I carried here. I tell him smiling a little,"Yeah, I don't have that much stuff." Shikamaru opens the door of the car for me and motions me to go inside. After he comes in, the driver starts to drive the car.

The whole car ride, Mr. Nara didn't utter any other word. He was glued to his phone. It's just a normal business for him and talking to someone like me isn't going to cause him any benefit.

The car stops in front of a large building. This side of the city looks more expensive and beautiful. Coming to Konoha was just like a dream to me after my parents died. I came here several times when mom and dad were alive. But after that most of my dreams were already ruined. But now I can see a little ray of hope for me.

Mr. Nara opens the door for me once again like a gentleman. After I leave the car, Mr. Nara says to me,"Please follow me." I nod and start to carry my luggage with me. A lot of people are here already. Mr. Nara leads me to the elevator and we enter it.

After taking us to the certain floor, the elevator stops. Mr. Nara goes ahead and I follow him again. Then he takes a card out of his pocket and pushes it toward a machine. The door opens immediately and we both go inside. It doesn't even look like how I imagined. It's more than that.

Of course Sasuke Uchiha has to own a heaven like place like that. He was talking that it's going to be cheap but I can't even utter the word "cheap" here. It's like, it's forbidden. Mr. Nara says,"This is Mr. Uchiha's penthouse. And you are going to share this apartment with him. Let me show you your room."

He takes me to my room. The room he chose for me is so beautiful. A king size bed, expensive furniture and everything I need. Mr. Nara says,"You are going to stay here like Mr. Uchiha instructed. The washroom is over there and you can use the same kitchen as Mr. Uchiha."

I bow my head showing him respect and tell him,"I appreciate for your help Mr. Nara. I'm grateful for everything but can I know how much I would have to pay for this?" Mr. Nara says an amount that almost made me flinch. I could never pay all that.

Seeing my wide apart mouth, Mr. Nara says,"Didn't you talk about the payment with Mr. Uchiha?" I reply to him,"Yes I did but he never told me about the exact amount. He told me that it's going to be cheap." Mr. Nara sighs hearing that and assures me saying,"Then you have nothing to worry about." Seeing the watch on his wrist, he says again,"It's time for me to go." I bid him goodbye and come back to my bedroom again. It's time for me to take a nap.

After showering in the massive bathroom and after laying on the super comfortable bed, it didn't take long for me to fall asleep. I slept like baby all those hours and when I woke up I didn't have any idea of the time. How long did I just sleep?

I hear my stomach growling. I haven't had anything for breakfast and also even for lunch. All day, I was starving. I get up from the bed and make my way to the kitchen. All the way I was sleepy even though I slept for so long. Little did I realize that Sasuke Uchiha is home.

My eyes widen seeing him standing there drinking water with no shirt on his body, just his sweat pants.
He has towel hanging on his shoulder. Seems like he just showered and his hair is still wet. I quickly apologize seeing him there,"I'm sorry for coming here so abruptly."

Sasuke notices me immediately and tells me putting the bottle in the fridge again,"No need to be on your guard all the time. It's alright." I wait for him to go but he's just standing here not moving. I tell him itching my neck feeling nervous,"Actually, I'm hungry. Is there anything in there? Or maybe I can cook."

Sasuke asks me,"You can cook?" I nod in response. He says,"No need for any hassle. I already ordered for some food for us after seeing you sleeping like a dead man." I tell him being grateful,"Thank you for that Mr. Uchiha." He nods and turns around taking the towel off from his shoulder.

He starts to wipe his hair. I keep staring at him while he was back facing me. Such nice muscles and perfect fair skin. His dark hair matches well with his skin colour as well. I can't help but admire him. Such a young person to be this successful.

I was staring at him for several minutes like a fool without realising Sasuke already caught me staring. He turns around and says breaking my day dream,"You are burning a hole through my back." I flinch and look at his face. He's looking back at me with his cold eyes. He says making me surprised all of a sudden,"Don't tell me, you are thinking some perverted thing."
