Chapter 29

Naruto's POV

I look at Sai being unsure about following the suspicious man in front of me. Yahiko looks smug and confident. What is there to be scared about? It's just the stupid paranoia I'm feeling.

"Why are you so much hesitant? Am I a stranger to you?" Yahiko asks me keeping that charming smile that is making all the ladies look over here. I speak,"But..." I was cut off by Yahiko as he says,"I know you are here to attend the party. But my son is waiting for you to meet you."

My eyes widen. I didn't expect his son to be here. I ask him,"Where is he?" Yahiko says,"In my room." Sai says giving me a positive response,"Follow him, Naruto. I heard you promised to give his son a visit?" I smile a bit and tell him,"Yes, I'm looking forward to do that as well."

Yahiko extends his hand giving me a hint so that I hold it. I grab his hand hesitantly and he pulled me right through the crowd heading to the staircases. In his way some people asked him about where he's heading to but he kept silent as he moved forward. He was just ignoring everyone who are present in this ball.

I felt a bit of shiver as I followed him to upstairs. Yahiko says,"This mansion is a bit cold. The reason of it is the location of this building." I ask him,"Isn't it a bit hard for you managing your business going back and forth to the company and returning here? Shouldn't you move to the main city?"

Yahiko replies,"I hate crowds. I prefer to be alone." I tell him,"Then just find a girlfriend or something. That would make everything a lot easier." Yahiko stops in the middle. He says turning to me,"Isn't that a bit boring? I mean where is the fun?"

I look at him frowning. I ask him,"What do you mean by fun?" Yahiko says,"Getting a girlfriend, having a romantic relationship with her, having sex with her and then marrying her, isn't that a bit typical? My parents wanted a heir to keep this business going and I gave them that. And there are a few people who exist who are my type."

I knew he's a bit weird so I tried to ignore whatever vibe he was giving off. I ask him feeling a bit of curiosity inside me,"Your type? What kind of girl is you type? Or maybe boy?" Yahiko smirks. He says," Are you that interested to know?"

I nodded. He says,"Someone fragile but hard to get at the same time. Someone who I can keep in my bedroom as a showpiece. Someone really beautiful. Someone I can have my way with."

I chuckled. I tell him,"You are straight cut creepy." Yahiko chuckles as well. He says,"No, it's just my thoughts are different." He started walking again pulling me with him as I am holding his hand. We both are still wearing the masks.

Yahiko stops walking. He says,"Could you please take off the mask? My son isn't fond of things like this." Saying that he takes off his one as well. He looks like a fine man that I really can't deny. I mimicked what he just did.

I wonder why he kept his son alone in his room which is almost at the corner of the mansion. Children are supposed to be afraid of quietness. Because this darkness feel like a gathering of Shadows who are lurking around the whole mansion. This is scary.

Yahiko knocks on the door. Getting no answer from inside Yahiko says loudly,"Sebastian, this is your father." I hear a voice that is so soft and not so loud that I couldn't even hear what he just said. Yahiko turns to me and says smilingly,"We can go in now."

Yahiko opens the door revealing a bedroom with dim lights. Yahiko says,"Were you sleeping, Sebastian?" Then I hear a soft voice of a boy,"Yes, father." Yahiko says,"Let me turn on the lights." as he presses on some switch making the whole room lighten up.

Then my eyes went to a small boy who is sitting on the huge bed who is rubbing on his eyelids. The boy is almost the smaller version of the woman who is supposed to be his mother, Konan. The boy inherited all her beauty.
