Chapter 18

Naruto's POV

"You are doing great!" Lee cheers me standing there seeing me posing in front of the camera. The man who's clicking the photos says,"Don't be stiff. Do more." I'm shy in front of the camera but still I'm trying my best not to make them disappointed.

"You have a photogenic face." Lee gives me compliment while seeing the photos in the camera. The photographer says with a poker face,"There's no reason for him to be awkward. Every angle of his face comes out good."

"Yeah do your best and make this company more well-known to everyone so that his beloved notices him quickly." A staff member says sending a wink. I feel really surprised sometimes to see them being this much unprofessional.

Lee becomes slightly red looking shy. He notices my gaze. Lee speaks,"Even though these jokes aren't new, I would like to enlighten you with these embarrassing small talks if you are interested."

I ask him,"Who is this beloved person of yours?" Lee says twiddling with his fingers,"Her name is Sakura Haruno." I raise my eyebrows and he quickly catches that I don't know the person by her name. Lee says,"She's a well-known model. Wait a second."

He takes his phone from his assistant and quickly shows her photo to me right after that. Seeing the photo, I remember the girl I saw with Sai. So she's Sakura Haruno.

I tell him hiding the half story,"I know her." Lee looks surprised. He asks with so much energy,"How!" I tell him,"At the party of Mr. Uchiha. We both were there." Lee's shoulders slumps down. He lets a sound out from his mouth,"Oh."

I ask him,"Weren't you invited there?" Lee says looking a bit down,"I'm not big enough to go to that party. It isn't even surprising to hear that Miss Haruno was there. She was caught in the camera quite a few times with Mr. Uchiha."

I tell him touching his shoulder trying to cheer him up even though I'm not good in these matters,"Just because you aren't being able to go there, that doesn't mean you aren't capable. You can hold your own party someday."

A few weeks later

"Drink up, you need a rest." Deidara tells me handing me a water bottle. I chug it down instantly. "Your magazine came out. Dude, you have a knack for the camera." I chuckle a little and thank him.

Deidara says,"I was in a contract with the Uchiha industry being their brand ambassador once. That time ended quickly." He chuckles after finishing the sentence. I tell him,"That was quite a great start for you for sure."

Deidara says,"Yeah, you can say that. They always hire the best. If you are in a contract with them, that means you are capable of being the top and you don't need to work hard to get more offers like this after being under their influence."

I tell him,"I don't think that's true. Everything starts from being the lowest. You work hard and go ahead without looking back. Deidara looks at me and chuckles,"You may have great morals but not everyone thinks like that."

Morals? Little does he know what type of human I truly am. I'm talking big even though I'm in no position. I'm pathetic. I'm coward when it comes to work hard. I always run away from the difficulties that people face and choose the easier way even though the way is wrong to choose.

"Hey, don't sit around like that. We have very little time." Sai says appearing in front of us out of nowhere. He looks sweaty and messy. He takes another water bottle and drink water from it. He sits after catching some breath.

Deidara says to Sai scrunching his nose feeling disgusted,"You stink." Sai ignores his comments. Sai says looking at me,"Hey, why don't we go for another drink sometime? Yahiko was insisting."

I better not. Deidara asks cutting us off,"Yahiko? You mean that Yahiko?" Sai says,"Yeah, that Yahiko." Then he rolls his eyes. Deidara says,"How fortunate of you to have a friend this rich. All my friends are such cheapskates."

Sai insults Deidara saying,"Just like you." Then he turns to me and says,"However, consider my offer. I'd like to take you with me." I tell him,"I'm busier nowadays. I'll tell you if I have time." I lied. I just don't want to visit that creepy man again.

Deidara says,"I wonder how much money that guy has. The official amount the news sources show aren't totally true I'm sure." Sai says,"Why do you think that he should be more rich?"

Deidara says,"There's rumours. That he earns money doing many illegal jobs, drugs." I ask him,"Then how come he's roaming around freely?" Sai says,"It's because these are just baseless rumours. Deidara you should stop paying heed to things like this. You'll make people think in the wrong way."

Why is Sai reacting this way? Is Yahiko that important to him? Deidara says shrugging his shoulders,"It's just some facts that he's awfully rich."

I ask him,"As rich as the Uchiha family?" Deidara says,"I don't know. The Uchiha family owns these much from centuries. Nobody knows how much wealth actually they have. Born with silver spoon haha."

Sai says to Deidara,"Nobody needs to know about your greed for money. However get back to the practice. You are pissing me." We see Sai turning his back and running back to the field.

Deidara says in a joking manner,"Maybe he ate something wrong." Saying that we both get back to the hardcore practice. The upcoming tournament is really important for us to win.

I lay down on my bed flat right after coming back. My whole body is sore. After the magazine came out, Lee said he got good feedbacks and he's hopeful. I turn the pages and see my photos wearing the clothes from his brand.Is doing this other than playing football necessary?

Yahiko's POV

It's really annoying that how I need to pay a big fat amount of money to the woman I tangled up with to shut her up about her pregnancy. Who knows if the baby is mine or not? Father is going to get pissed if he gets to know about these scandals.

I got Sai's call. After receiving it I hear his cheerful voice. "Hey my best friend." He's really useful sometimes. He's a great friend to be honest. I only keep people around me who are useful to me. Sai is cunning. I always keep my guard up even around him.

I ask him,"How's going everything?" Sai says,"I gave him some hint. I thought maybe hearing about how rich you are will make him soft. But it didn't work." I chuckle and tell him,"He's playing hard to get huh? That's even greater."

Sai says,"Don't worry. He'll have to come eventually." I speak,"Just tell me one thing, Sai. Why are you even doing this?" Sai replies,"Not this shit again Yahiko. I told you how boring my life is. It's just something to spice things up. However good luck with him. Things will get harder than you think."

We finish our conversation. Sai came to me telling about a guy he wants set me up. I don't have any specific gender to fuck. I don't really do it with a guy because no guy matches my expectations.

I agreed to meet up with him in a whim and when I saw him my head kinda spinned. He's so my type. He looks so fragile and strong at the same time. He's confusing. The most amusing thing for me is he's giving me a hard time.

He looks like a puppy that is lost in the crowd. He should be in a cage, in a fancy place. He should be on my bed spreading his legs for me with that feisty attitude of his.

How come I never saw him? How come a guy who's my type walking around being far from my eyesight? How come a guy like him is under Sasuke Uchiha denying me?

I touch the new magazine that I brought. The magazine features my Naruto in it. It makes me fear sometimes that how drawn I feel to him. I met him once and I feel obsessed.

I touch his picture. Try to act more salty, try doing everything. Everything you do will just make me more determined. I want you and I can't loose against the Uchiha.

You'll be in a leash, waiting for me in my bedroom. I chuckle and speak remembering something from my past seeing his photo,"You remind me of the puppy my father first brought for me. It's a shame that it ran away."
