Naruto's POV

I was getting ready to go for practice earlier than usual. Coach texted me last night informing that today our practice session will start earlier than usual. Sasuke is up too and currently having breakfast in the living room.

Going straight to the living room I see him eating less and typing on his laptop more. He looks up to me hearing the sounds I'm making while getting dressed. He says,"I'll drop you off." I tell him,"That won't be necessary."

Sasuke says,"I wasn't asking for your permission." I frown. I tell him,"What would happen if someone sees us on our way Mr. Uchiha?" Sasuke says,"Nobody will notice you and me being together." I sigh. Being a bit optimistic won't do any good here.

I ended up getting into Sasuke's car even though I argued a bit. It was pointless. He comes a bit closer and gives small peck on my lips before dropping me off.

Every time he shows a bit care, I start to hope for more knowing this dream will break someday. I'll just enjoy the dream I'm now having. It's not a bad thing though.

"You did well." Our coach says to me after he hands me a bottle of water. I'm sweaty and I pour half of the water from the bottle on my body trying to cool myself off.

Sai appears out of nowhere. It's been so long we've talked casually. Sai looks nervous and he's scratching his neck showing his nervousness clearly. I ask him,"Do you have something to say?" Sai looks at me and then clears his voice by coughing a bit.

He says,"Hey." I keep staring at him hoping to hear from him. Sai sighs. He says,"About the masquerade ball Yahiko arranging..." I speak,"What?" Sai says,"Can we just fix everything at first. I can't stand your coldness."

I tell him,"Why not?" Sai says lowering his voice,"I don't know." He looks like a kid doesn't want his mom to be unhappy about something.

I speak,"Listen Sai, just because I'm quiet that doesn't mean you can walk over me. I can't stand people who raise their voices at me without any reason."

Sai says,"I already know that! And I'm sorry for that, didn't I say it!" I sigh. I tell him,"Okay, I'm not someone to hold grudges forever over some trivial matters."

Sai sighs in relief and says,"I thought I was about to loose a friend." I roll my eyes and tell him,"I'm not the only friend of yours." Sai says frowning,"But you are the cute one." I cringed.

I ask him,"So what about Yahiko's masquerade ball?" Sai's eyes grew wide and he says loudly,"Damn, I already forgot about it. It's just about a suit he sent for you to wear at that ball." I tell him,"Why would he do that! Am I not capable of buying one?"

Sai says,"Maybe he just wants you to see in a suit he bought for you." I sigh.  I tell him,"I don't really feel good about it" Sai says,"At first look at the suit! Maybe you'll change your mind."

Sai took me to his car where he put the suit Yahiko seemed to buy for me. Yahiko opens the door and takes out a bag from it. He says handing it to me,"Check it out?" Looking at the brand I couldn't help but gasp. I tell him,"He didn't have to do this really."

Sai says,"I don't know, why don't you thank him over a phone call?" I look at him suspiciously and then tell him,"Why are trying so hard so that I make amends with him?"

Sai flinches hearing my assumption. He says,"It's because Yahiko seems to be really fond of you and he doesn't really act like that usually." So he's playing a matchmaker?

I tell him,"Then give me his contact number, I'll make time to call him later to thank him." Sai smirks. He says,"See, that's not very hard." He says later,"I can take you to the ball tomorrow if you don't mind." I tell him,"No, that's gonna be a huge relief to tell you the truth.
