Chapter 13

After the girls and Albus had popped away to go shopping: the boys, Hecate and Dobby; who was now disguised as a seven-year-old, were left to decide who would be apparating which students to the apparition point at Legoland. After ten minutes of back and forth arguing, they finally managed to come to an agreement. Lucius would side-along apparate Draco and Harry, Hecate would take Ethel and Hermione, and Snape was taking Ron and Enid. That left Maud and Mildred to travel with Dobby.

The children were all in a state of excitement when they landed and Snape was forced to wave his wand in order to return them all back to where the adults were standing. They'd all tried to rush off in different directions, which Severus didn't doubt, would have been a disaster.

Snape had decided that he would have to get everything in hand now as Lucius was just staring dumbfounded in excitement, Hecate was looking like she'd rather be anywhere else and Dobby, well Dobby was far too busy complimenting the socks of every child that walked past them.

With a quick warning to 'stay where they were,' Snape walked over to where he had purchased their tickets and bought four maps of the park. One for each of the adults should be enough; it wasn't like the children would need one, as they would always need to be with one of their caretakers.

As soon as he returned, the children were already beginning to shout out again.

'Can we go on Flight of the Sky Lion?' Asked Harry.

'No! I want to try Hydra's Challenge first. Oooo. Or maybe The Dragon?.' That was Draco.

'I'd really love to visit the balloon school,' said Hermione.

'That's enough!' Snapped out Snape. 'I've got some maps of the park from the lady at the gate and if we follow this circuit, we will be able to visit all of the parks rides. Now, I expect exemplary behaviour, or I'll apparate you all back to the castle faster than you can say, 'Albus' magenta robes.' They all sniggered at that.

'Will we have time to visit the Lego shop afterwards, Severus? Some of their products look simply fascinating. Look, they have a Hogwarts. How is that even possible? I thought muggles weren't aware of magic?' Asked Lucius in shock.

'They aren't, as far as I'm aware,' Snape said baffled. 'We should have enough time to visit it at the end, though.'

Lucius grinned and nodded his thanks.

It turned out to be the best day the children had had for ages and everyone had been on their very best behaviour. Dobby had needed to briefly vanish for a while and returned a good two feet taller. He'd been extremely unhappy when he discovered his previous height hadn't been tall enough for a lot of the rides.

They'd been on each ride at least once. On one memorable occasion, the children had convinced the adults and Dobby to join them on the Viking River Splash. Hecate and Snape had been fuming, when once the ride was over they had to get off dripping wet. Dobby had been forced to cast a quick drying spell on them all before any of the children could get shouted at for it.

Only Hermione had wanted to go to the balloon school, because most of the others were exhausted by this point. She did, however, manage to convince Lucius to join her and he had loved every minute of it. He didn't stop mentioning it for a full twenty minutes, until Snape hastened them towards the Lego shop. Anything to stop him talking.

Inside the shop, Lucius started running from product to product. 'OMG! Severus, Harry, come and look at this. It's you, Harry Potter. And look, there's even a Dumbledore. We have to buy him one, he will love it. And over there is the Knight Bus, and a Hermione and Ron. They even have a little Dobby.' Dobby whisked straight over and after snatching it from the shelf, took it over to the counter to buy, as well as the Harry Potter one.
