Jay's POV:
Nothing. I couldn't process what was happening. I leave her for a few minutes- no- close to a half hour? I'm not quite sure anymore. I come back to her being blind. Blind? Is that the word I want to use?
Mom and Dad have constantly been reassuring me that I have no fault in this. I've accepted it as well, but why, I can't help but feel pain every time I see Choon Hee not being able to see things. I went outside to sit on the bench, the bench that I had her wait for me on.
It was cloudy today. The clouds were grayish- white. Stratus clouds, kind of like a light blanket in the sky. I had learned about the types of clouds last year in 2nd grade.
Blue skies, stratus clouds, grass dancing in the wind.
But Choon Hee will never be able to see these again. I can tell her all these things but she will never be able to see with them with her own eyes.

Choon Hee's POV:
I walked along the kitchen counter, feeling the edge, taking one step at a time. Marble. We had marble counters, cold, marble counters. I never thought the day would come so soon that I would move out of this house. So many memories have taken place here.
Jay turned 18 in April, so he's moving out for college. Mom and dad recommended me to go along with him so I can experience the outside world. Jay didn't oppose, in fact he encouraged it as well. I kind of enjoyed the fact that I got to go with him, but I didn't want to be a burden.
He applied for a fashion design university. He plans to have his own clothing line one day, and I'm proud of him. However, I don't want to be the reason he has to delay things or study extra hours. No, I should be fine. I've been getting around places a lot easier the past years.
"Choon Hee! All of your stuff are in the car!" My mom helped me get all my things.
We all said our goodbyes and good wishes. As we drove off I thought of all the things that occurred in the past. It's the only thing I get to enjoy these days. Looking into the past without knowing what lies ahead of me.
