32: again

"So how's everything over there?" "Fun! Oh Jungwon it's so nice here. It's nice to be back home." "Good. That's so good. Please be safe, Choon Hee." "I will, I miss you." "I miss you too, have a nice time love." "Thank you, lo-" 

Jay walked in, "Dinners ready."

"Ok I have to eat now, bye!" Choon Hee hung up the phone and smiled. Life for her was so beautiful.

Time skip

"Oh I wish you could come back with us." She tightly hugged her parents. "Aw it's okay, we have our own schedule here too you know." Mrs. Park replied.

"Hee-ah, Jongseong, stay safe and healthy!" Their parents bid them goodbye, waving.

Jay and Choon Hee then drove off.

Choon Hee's POV:

Ah, it's been a few hours meaning we should be back soon. I miss my parents already, I miss being a child.

Playing outside

Helping with laundry

Daily hugs from dad

My Honey bear

To have sight again.

"We'll be home in about 5 minutes." Jay said, interrupting my thoughts.

He sighed, "Well back to normal now, school, work.." 

I trailed off into my thoughts again..

Jungwon, I get to be with him again! I wonder if he misses me as much as I do him.

"I'm going to unpack." Jay said, unloading the trunk as I stood beside the car. 

I walked using my cane to go to the other side of the car, trying to get my things on the other side.

I opened the door, pulling my bag out, I closed the door taking a step back. I've actually gotten proud of myself over the years on how well I've managed. 

"CHOON HEE WATCH-"

Before I could answer I fell hard on the rocky road.

My head felt a whiplash, did it? I don't know it was so sudden, it hurt.

"PARK CHOON HEE" Jay? His voice was so soft. 

I opened my eyelids.

"I'M SO SORRY" Familiar voice? Who?

Blurry vision.

"WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU BLIND?!" Jay I didn't mean to.

Blue?

"HURRY PLEASE MY SISTER JUST GOT HIT WITH THIS IDIOTS CAR"

Red?

"PARK CHOON HEE CAN YOU HEAR ME?" I can.

Black again.

End of Choon Hee's POV-

"GET OUT OF MY WAY" Jungwon pushed people aside, rushing to the room. Another side of him came out, he had been near lost his mind.

"What room is she in?! Park Choon Hee. What room is she in right now?!" 

"Mister, please calm down, what is your name?" The desk lady asked.

"Calm down?!- Yang Jungwon. Please tell me where she is right now or-"

"What are you to her?" The lady asked quickly, seeing the urgency in him.

"Her boyfriend. I'm her boyfriend so please for the last time tell me where she is."

"Room 504, upstairs to the left."

Without thanking the lady he ran upstairs, to the left, where he was directed.

Room 504

Before he could bust the door open someone stopped him.

"Jungwon." Jay sat on the bench on the other side of the hallway, head down, hair messy.

"Jay where is she? Is she in there? What are you waiting for, she's right-" 

Jay stood up and grabbed the boys jacket by the sides of his arms, "I KNOW! I LITERALLY BROUGHT HER HERE NOW SHUT UP WILL YOU?" 

After ranting his annoyance, he sat down, ruffling his hair making it more of a mess.

Jungwon stood there silent. He knew he was going crazy. He felt bad for the scene he made. But it hurt him knowing his love was right in the room behind him, probably tangled with tubes, stuck in bed, without him there.

"I'm sorry." Jay said, tears rolling down his face. "I'm sorry Choon Hee. Brother couldn't even protect you again." He punched his thigh in sorrow.

"Excuse me for a minute." Jungwon left to go downstairs. He needed a breather from what happened. He couldn't process what was going on. He looked up at the sky, it was clear.

Meanwhile upstairs, Jay was in the same position, sitting.

"Jay!" Sunghoon ran up to him in disbelief. "Choon Hee..?" 

Head down, he pointed to the room in front of him. Not wanting to add anything to Jay's mind he kept silent. 

The door then opened, "You may now see her."

Carefully, the two rushed in the room.

There the girl was, in her bed, laying in tubes and wires. 

Jay walked to her side, not saying a word, holding her hand. Sunghoon on the other hand stood at the end of the bed.

Oh Choon Hee. Wake up please. Please. For me.

Jay then walked out, not being able to take it anymore. Sunghoon, left there didn't know what to do.

He wanted to stay with her. He wanted to be the first to see her wake up. He wanted to be the one to love and care for her.

However inside, he knew his place in her heart. He knew there was another someone that she wants to stay with her. To see her wake. To love and care for her.

A tear fell from his cheek, leaving the room he went to find someone.

He went outside, seeing a boy with a puffer coat looking up.

"You're here." Jungwon said, face solemn.

"She's waiting. She's waiting for you."
