Choon Hee's POV:

As I lay in my bed I rubbed my ankles a bit. My feet were sore from skating. I will admit though, it was fun. Sunghoon wasn't cold as I had thought. I think when I met him he had a lot on his mind, with the competition and everything, which led to his sulky mood.

He enjoys skating. He's not sure of it but I know he does. He just needs someone to motivate him.

I was excited to meet Jungwon again tomorrow. I thought about the things we could do.

——-time skip -——

"So it seems you have a lot of friends all of a sudden." Jay told me. "You have Jungwon, Sunghoon, no girls?" He laughed a bit.

I never thought about that, I've made two friends in the past 2 weeks but no girl friends. I didn't mind, I think living with an older brother my whole life got me used to it.

"Yeah, but they're both good to me." I replied. "Ok, what do we have going on this week? Today you're heading over to Jungwon's, I have to go to school." He continued, "Oh and you said you're going to Sunghoon's competition this Wednesday, is he taking you?"

"I'm not sure, could you ask him? Will you be there as well?" "I think I am, Jake is for sure."

I wanted to ask Jungwon to go with me when I see him later.

"He said he's on his way." I waited on the couch listening in on the weather forecast.

This week it will be a high of 78 degrees and a low of 64 degrees.

The weatherman continued to speak, muffled in my ears. I couldn't stop thinking, about him.

Knock knock. He's here.

"Hey Jungwon! How's everything?" Jay said as he walked in. "Good! Got to spend some time with my parents which was nice."

"Yang Jungwon!" I said in an excited tone. "Aren't you going to say hi to me?" He began to chuckle, "Hey, you ready to go?" "Yep!"

We then left my brother in the apartment and left. We did the same as before, me holding on to his arm and walking down the sidewalk.

"So, what do you want to do?" I asked. "We can go to my house and I can introduce you to my grandma and sister. Oh yeah, you can check out her garden. The aroma is really nice."

The two of us continued to walk until we arrived at his home. I could already smell the flowers, hence the wind was a bit hard.

Author's POV:

"Let's head to the backyard first, my grandma is probably waiting there." The boy said with a smile on his face. The girl, too, had a smile on her face.

"Ah your back! And brought your friend I see, it's very nice to meet you Choon Hee." The elder said welcoming the two to her home. "Thank you for having me, it's nice to meet you as well." Choon Hee said as she bowed.

At this moment in time Jungwon had caught himself smiling very hard, so he bit his lip refraining himself from showing emotion.

"Well make yourselves comfortable, not many restrictions here." The elder chuckled, heading inside.

They began to walk around the small garden. "It smells good here." Choon Hee said. "Here, let's walk over to the gardenias, I know you like those." The girl's heart raced at his comment.

He knows.

"Here hold out your hand, I'll guide you to where they are." Jungwon then held her hand, placing them where the flowers were. Choon Hee felt them again. The butterflies from before, although she didn't want to feel this way yet, she didn't want to ruin Jungwon's view of her.

She felt the soft petals of the flowers, gently gliding her fingers across the tops of the gardenias.

"Jungwon, I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me to an ice skating competition." The boy looked up in amusement, "So suddenly? I didn't know you liked ice skating." "Well, another friend of mine asked me to watch him so I asked to invite you."

Jungwon was in a bit of confusion, him? another friend?

"Who's your friend?" "Sunghoon, Park Sunghoon. He was a friend of my brothers and I met him through that." She said, still feeling the flowers.

Sunghoon? He doesn't even talk to people. He just stays alone by himself at his house. Jungwon then reassured himself, well at least she thought of me, and no way would he treat her better than I do, that's for sure.

"Of course I'll go!" He said, tilting his head towards her. Choon Hee was happy to hear these words.
