"Do we have any plans today?" Choon Hee asked her brother who was watching a movie on the couch. "Nope." They were both tired from the busy week they had. Choon Hee nodded and continued to listen in on the movie.

"Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight."

As the movie ended they sat around waiting for time to pass. "Hee-ah why don't we take a walk outside?" His sister looked in his direction and stood up, "Sure." The two went out of the apartment and strolled for a bit.

"So how's school doing?" Choon Hee asked, walking on the inner side of the sidewalk. Jay sighed, "I'm holding up, but I do enjoy most of it." He chuckled a bit, "That's what we're here for right? And besides, I see you've been doing well too. You made new friends, you're learning new things, we're both pretty happy." Choon Hee nodded and smiled. She was happy. All these years of being at home, unable to see, but now things were different. A good difference.

"Yah-!" Jay yelled as a few girls collided into him as they were running. He grabbed a hold of Choon Hee as she also lost balance. "Watch where you're going!" He scolded the three girls. They bowed in apology, "Sorry, I didn't see where I was going I apologize." Their heads still down. The two groups walked in opposite directions when someone spoke up, which stopped their tracks.

"You two were at the figure skating competition yesterday, weren't you?" Jay looked back at the girl speaking. "Yes, I suppose you were there as well? Why?" Choon Hee turned around, following her brother. "I was. I'm Yeji, Sunghoon's sister, I saw you two sitting in the family bleachers so I suppose you're close?" Jay raised his eyebrows, "Mhm, we're friends." He hesitated a bit, "I'm Jay, and this is Choon Hee."

Choon Hee kept a straight face the whole time, not that she was in a bad mood, but she was rather tired. "These are my friends, Hana and Nari." They continued to greet each other. "Choon Hee, do you want to hang out with us? I mean, us three is an odd number so it'd be nice if you could fill in." She said with a chuckle. Jay nudged his sister a bit. "Uhm, sure." She replied. Yeji and Jay exchanged numbers for contact purposes and he left the four on the sidewalk.

Choon Hee remained silent, not in the mood to bring a smile on her face. "So how'd you meet my brother? He usually hates talking to girls, but it seems like he's different with you." The girl crossed her arms in a joking manner. "I don't know, I just met him through Jay and proceeded to be friends with him from there." Choon Hee as they stood. "Ugh, you're so lucky! Nari and I would pay to hang out with him!" Hana said clasping her hands together. "Oh shut up will you." Yeji scoffed, annoyed by those words.

These words didn't phase Choon Hee at all. Ever since she's met Sunghoon she never thought about their friendship being "lucky". "It's really not that special, I mean our friendship is special to me, but I bet you'll have your chance, whether it's with him or someone else." Nari raised her eyebrows in annoyance. All an act. She thought to herself.

"Ok enough about my brother, Choon Hee, we should find time to hang out more often!" She said in a cheerful tone. "Sure." They continued to walk towards the cafe. "Watch your step." Yeji said to Choon Hee placing her hand on her back. Choon Hee was getting a bit more comfortable being with her. She seems so nice and selfless, she thought.

As they entered the cafe the aroma of americanos and tea filled the room. Choon Hee had been here once, when her and Jay just moved in and they were roaming the city. "Do you want to get anything?" Yeji asked. "No, thank you." She replied with a smile. They found a small table and sat.

"So how old is everyone?" Choon Hee asked. "I'm 15." "We're both 14, I'm turning 15 this fall though." Nari said. "So we're all around the same age! I'm 15 like Yeji." Choon Hee replied back.

Choon Hee found it odd that no one had asked or mentioned her eyesight. She kind of liked it though, it's like they treated her like a normal person. They continued to converse and talk about little things.

Maybe Jay was right. It's good to have a few girl friends.
