"Naka-green light na," sabi ko dahil 30 seconds na ang lumipas simula nung putulin ko iyong yakap namin, pero hindi pa rin siya gumagalaw. After saying that, he blinked twice before nodding at saka pa lang kami tumawid sa may pedestrian lane. Mabuti na lang at kasama ko si Austin Archangel dahil hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin ako confident na tumawid mag-isa sa kalsada kahit na may pedestrian lane.

"Every time you'll buy me food, will I hug you? Ganoon ba?"

"No, not really."

"I will just hug you sometimes?"

"When you feel like it."

"How will I feel like it?"

"I don't know... Do you want me to just ask you if I want a hug?"

I nodded. "Yes. That'll make my life easier."

"Noted," he answered. "But I'm not buying you food to get hugs, to be clear."

"Okay," sagot ko rin sa kanya.

Pagdating namin sa restaurant, it seemed like we were out of place because Austin Archangel was wearing his usual attire after game and I was just wearing my black leggings and a white SCA shirt. Pero kahit na ganoon ay pina-pasok pa rin naman kami... Which felt off dahil mayroong dress code sa ganitong lugar.

"It's weird," I said as we were being ushered in.

"What's weird?" he asked.

"We bypassed the dress code," sabi ko at saka nagpasalamat sa naghatid sa amin sa pwesto namin. Austin Archangel did the same.

"Hmm," sagot niya lang.

After ten seconds, we were handed the menu. Although Austin Archangel said that it was his treat and I really wanted to get the wagyu steak, my mom said never to order the expensive food when someone else is buying. I chose the mid-priced meal.

"Are you going to the victory party?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"No."

"Why? You're the captain and nagchampion ulit kayo."

"I know," he replied as he reached for the glass of water and quietly sipped it. Napa-tingin na naman ako sa mga daliri niya. He had such pretty fingers.

"Why are you not going?" I asked and then looked at my watch. "It's still early," sabi ko sa kanya dahil sabi ni Jed ay 10PM pa raw ang simula.

"Will you go?" he asked.

"No," I replied.

"Then I'm not going."

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Package deal ba ang attendance natin?"

He shrugged. "No, but I'd rather spend time with you," sabi niya tapos ay kinuha niya iyong table napkin at tinitigan iyon.

Napa-awang ang labi ko.

Dumating na iyong appetizer. The whole meal took two hours. Austin Archangel and I just talked about my script. I tried asking him about the game, but I got bored, so he asked me about my script. Sinabi ko sa kanya na nagustuhan ni Kaleigh iyon at mag-uusap kami tungkol doon.

After we finished our three course meal, lumabas na kami. Hindi na ganoon karami iyong mga tao gaya ng kanina. Naglakad kami pabalik sa sasakyan niya. Austin Archangel's phone was on the dashboard kaya naman nang umilaw iyon ay napa-tingin ako. Nakita ko iyong text ni Jed.

"Gusto mo bang pumunta sa party?" I asked. 11PM naman ang curfew ko. Magtetext na lang ako kay Mama na kasama ko si Austin Archangel. At saka alam naman ni Papa na nagchampion. Nandoon din siguro si Coach Aldrin.
