A Bizzare Encounter
It was a month after the explosion at the Millennium Tower, life has... Somewhat returned to normal. My name as well as Kiryu's have gained some fame, solving the ten billion yen mystery and doing stuff around Kamurocho, though the attention isn't all positive. Still got people who hate me while I got a lot who now respect, kinda weird really, but I won't complain. I don't know how many times I've repeated the story, Kashiwagi usually made me come in the middle of multiple meetings, explain, and leave but luckily I think most in the Tojo have heard it so I can just go back to collecting debts and walking around until I'm needed.
I step out of the taxi coming back from a graveyard, paying my respects and thanks to Juno and Kazama, before walking through town. Seeing a store recieve an shipment of matchboxes, homeless still chatting and drinking the beer I got them, and Mai giving me a wink as she walked past by holding the arm of one of her many clients since working at Shine. I smile and head towards the arcade until a man in a suit walked in front of me.
Man in Black: "Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?"
(L/n): "Yeah, who are you?" He held out an envelope, "Okay... What's that?"
Man in Black: "An invitation, I suggest you take it."
I eye him a little before taking the so called invitation. He bows and walks off leaving me alone, I shrug and open the envelope to read the letter.
'Leviathan,
I've heard of your many exploits done across Kamurocho. You seemed to be a worthy opponent, supported by the fact even the Dragon of Dojima taken a liking to you becoming his pupil. I would like to see this strength myself and decide whether or not you are worth our time, meet me in the deadend found in the Champion District alone and be prepared.
-M.A.'
M.A.? Don't know anyone with those initials, but it sounds like they know me and that they're challenging me to a fight. I don't have anything better to do so I pocket the letter and walk across town to the Champion District, heading in and to the alleyway Kiryu and I fought those White Edge punks. Wasn't sure if I was there early or not since no one was there until I heard a voice behind me.
???: "So you came." I turn around seeing the same guy a month ago wearing all black and sunglasses, "I've been waiting for this day, (L/n)-san."
(L/n): "Do you usually sound like a manga villain?" I put my hands in pocket and sigh, "So who are you?"
???: "They call me... Mo Amon of the Amon Clan! Child of the legendary assassin So Amon and younger brother to the very deadly Jo Amon!" He points at me with eyes full of determination, "And I demand a fight, no rules and no excuses!"
(L/n): "Uh, sure, still don't know why though."
Mo: "My clan pride themselves in being the strongest, training day in and day out to overcome any obstacle and taking down any so called powerful opponets. Before Kiryu Kazama left Kamurcho my brother challenged him to a fight... And lost... Dishonoring our clan's name and leaving the clan to go train to prepare and challenge Kiryu again!"
(L/n): "Okay, cool story, but why come after me?"
Mo: "Admittedly, I'm still learning everything myself but I'm still quite skilled but not enough to challenge Kiryu myself but you..." He walks closer to me, "You started hanging around him the time he got out of prison, fighting with him and spending time together which only means one thing! You must be his student, training to be as strong as him!"
(L/n): "What? No, I was assigned to look after him, I mean sure he's somewhat of a mentor but-"
Mo: "So you admit! How else would you explain your quick learning of fighting styles? Your brutal attacking, swift kicks, precise strikes?"
