Richard Villarreal Part 7

The children were now at Hogwarts and they had just been dismissed from the Great Hall, it was tough for Luzia and Penelope to hear from Professor McGonagall that Richard Villarreal was dead.

"We need to stay behind, Penelope. We need answers." Luzia whispered to her when all the Gryffindor's were told to stand up and leave the Great Hall.

"Yes, let's wait outside for McGonagall." Penelope whispered back.

The corridors were busy with children running around, meeting up with friends and rushing towards different common rooms. Luzia and Penelope strayed from their fellow Gryffindors and waited outside of the hall. After 3 minutes, Professor McGonagall came out, she looked worried.

"Erm, Professor." Luzia tried to get her attention.

Professor McGonagall stood still and turned around to face the girls. "Get to your common rooms now."

"But please-"

"Get to your common rooms now." Professor McGonagall repeated.

Penelope and Luzia looked at each other and Professor McGonagall walked swiftly away.

"Come on, let's go." Penelope told Luzia.

"Fine, but I still want answers."

Luzia and Penelope went up to Gryffindor tower, but remembered that they missed what the password was as they strayed from their fellow Gryffindor's earlier.

"How are we going to get in without the password?" Asked Penelope.

"No idea. We need to ask a teacher, we need help-"

"If Professor Villarreal was here, I bet he'd let us in."

Luzia walked forward, towards the Fat Lady and spoke to her, "Let us in!"

"Nooo."

"Please, we missed our head boy and girl telling us."

"Your loss."

Penelope heard a few people coming up the stairs behind them, she was going to ask them for help, but before she could-

"Penelope? Luzia?"

Penelope stared at the person who just spoke to them and Luzia turned around to see who spoke. It was Richard Villarreal with a tabby cat.

"R-Rich?" Luzia said before getting cut off.

"Shh. I have news, Professor McGonagall has heard that your mother has been killed."

Penelope and Luzia stared at each other. "No way."

"It's true." Said Professor McGonagall as she appeared out of her cat form and stood beside Richard.

"How?" Penelope asked.

"I'll tell you in my office, please follow me."

Penelope and Luzia followed Professor McGonagall and Richard followed behind them, he looked very different than normal. He had long hair and a beard like Sirius Black did in Prison of Azkaban. He was wearing some old black trousers with a white shirt which was no longer white. He couldn't walk well, Luzia assumed it was became he was injured and weak.

When the 4 of them reached Professor McGonagall's office, they all went inside and sat down. Professor McGonagall sat behind her desk while Penelope and Luzia sat in front of it. Richard sat on the floor by the door.

"Your mother is dead." Professor McGonagall told them.

"How?" Penelope asked.

"Your house has been blown up, we are yet to find out why or how."
