The train journey went on and as the day become later and later, the weather got cloudier and windier.

Luzia began reading Wuthering Height and read the first chapter within 20 minutes.

"How is it?" Asked Johnny who was now drawing pictures of stickmen on the inside of one of his other books.

"It's alright, I think the opening chapter of all books are a bit boring though, I'll read more later."

There was a knock on the sliding door, all 3 of them looked at the window and saw Vanessa Riddle. Penelope and Luzia got their wands out just in case. Johnny slid the door open for her.

"Hiya, I just heard about your brother, Benji."

Neither girl said anything.

"I am sorry for your loss, if there is anything I can do, let me know."

They still said nothing.

"Anyway, a teacher told me to collect permission slips for Hogsmeade if you are in your 3rd year, do you have them?"

"Yeah." Penelope said quickly.

"Oh great, what about you, boy."

"Oh yeah, same."

Johnny was busy staring at Vanessa. Penelope and Luzia got their permission slips out of their back packs and passed them to Vanessa.

"Thank you, and you boy?"

Johnny didn't speak. Luzia kicked his foot which made him focus again.

"What was that for?"

"She needs your permission slip for Hogsmeade."

"Ooh."

Johnny reached inside of his back and pulled out his permission slip, it looked all crumpled and untidy.

"Thank you, ermm Johnny?" She checked his name on the slip of paper.

"Yeah, I am Johnny Dipper and you are?"

"Vanessa Riddle, but don't mind my last name, I am nice." Johnny smiled at her and Vanessa smiled back. "I better be getting back, see you 3 another time."

Vanessa quickly left and shut the door behind her.

"She was nice." Johnny told the other 2 girls.

"Hmm."

The train journey continued and the children were getting more and more board by the minute.

"What year is that girl in?" Johnny asked.

"The year below us, she'll be in her 2nd year this year."

"Cool, she seems nice."

"And French." Luzia told him.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Asked Johnny.

"Nothing...just saying."

Johnny ignored her and looked out of the window. The weather was now rainy.

"How can it be raining? It was sunny not long ago."

"That's England for you, always weird weather." Penelope told him.

The rest of the train journey lasted for ages, they knew the journey was coming to the end when Timmy Robinson, a 5th year boy in Hufflepuff entered the compartment.

"Hello, Professor Ittle told me to tell you all that you need to change into your robes."

"Ok." Johnny said. "I'll go first."
