Explaining Things Part 20

Luzia went to the portkey and touched it with her right index finger. Very quickly she started travelling across the world to Los Angeles, California. The journey, like usual, was very long and nausea inducing. She appeared in her bedroom. It was still quite early in the morning in America, so she half expected her parents to be asleep.

Luzia left her bedroom and walked across the dining, living room area towards her parents bedroom. She knocked on the bedroom door and then opened it. Luzia saw her mother sleeping silently on the bed, but her father was missing. She heard a noise and saw Gellert jump out from behind his side of the bed as if he though the house was under attack.

"Oh, Luzia. It's only you. What brings you hear?" He whispered.

"I need help, come with me."

Grindelwald followed Luzia out of the bedroom and into the living area. They both sat down and spoke softly to each other.

"What is it? Have you got in trouble again?" He asked.

"No, worse. I sent you both a letter explaining it all, but I assume it hasn't arrived yet."

"No, tell me now."

"Delphini is back! She took a boy called Johnny Dipper and a girl called Vanessa Riddle-"

"Riddle?" Grindelwald repeated.

"Yes, Delphini's younger sister. Long story short, Delphini killed Vanessa and released Johnny-"

"What's the problem then?"

"Well, before she released Johnny, she took Penelope. They are in the cottage in Hogsmeade- mum's old cottage she stayed at last year. The problem is that Delphini used a spell to hide it from us. We need to find the cottage and get Penelope back."

"Luzia, have you told anyone and I mean anyone about me and your mum still being alive?"

"I...erm...might have."

Gellert rolled his eyes, "Why?"

"They need help-"

"Who's they? Who have you told?"

Just then, Sarah woke up and walked in on them.

"What is all the shouting about?" Sarah asked while rubbing her eyes.

"Luzia has told people about us."

"Us being alive?"

"Indeed." Gellert told her.

"We need help, Penelope has been taken by Delphini. Professor McGonagall, Professor Ittle and Professor Villarreal all agree that-"

"Professor Villarreal?" Sarah repeated. "As in Richard?"

Luzia nodded.

"But he died, he-"

"He is a vampire, he can survive more than you think." Luzia told her.

"But-"

"Shh mum. Let me tell you what happened." Luzia was getting annoyed. "Penelope got taken by Delphini this morning. Johnny got released just after, that's how we know she got taken. Johnny's girlfriend Vanessa got murdered by Delphini too. Since Johnny left, Delphini has made the cottage invisible by using a spell, we need to break the spell and get Penelope back and to do that I need your help."

"Mine? I'm supposed to be dead."

"Luzia, told her little teachers and school friends about us surviving." Grindelwald told her.

Sarah sat down next to Grindelwald on the sofa. "Why would you do that?"

"It wasn't my fault, mum. Delphini knew that you two were alive. She told Johnny to try and kill me and she told Johnny that she wanted You to kill mum. I know everything."
