In the middle of the night on Sunday, the girls took the portkey back to Hogwarts for their Monday morning lesson. As soon as the girls arrived at Hogwarts, things were different. There was a large group of girls from Slytherin crying in the Great Hall. Luzia and Penelope ignored it and went to their Muggle Studies lesson. They went up a couple of moving staircases and waited outside of the classroom.

While Penelope and Luzia were waiting outside, Penelope saw her teacher crush, Professor Ittle. he was their Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher last year.

"Hi, sir." Penelope said to him while he walked past.

"Hello Penelope, how are you today? I haven't been seeing you around school over the last couple of days."

"Me and my sister are only here during lesson times."

Luzia was never really into Professor Ittle the same way Penelope was.

"That's interesting, if you want, you can always ask for extra homework for DADA if you get bored while at home."

"Maybe. I do want to do really well in my exams."

Luzia was shocked, you knew that even though Penelope was smart, she'd never voluntarily do homework for no reason. No matter how much she liked her teacher.

"What are we doing next lesson, sir?" Luiza asked.

"We will be doing Boggarts. Anyway, I better get to lesson. See you later, ladies." Professor Ittle tipped his hat and walked on.

"Isn't he so nice to me?" Penelope asked Luzia.

"He behaved completely normal."

"Yeah, but he is so special..."

Luzia ignored her and waited for her teacher and other classmates to arrive. Nobody came. Luzia checked her watch and it was now 9:00. They waited around 15 more minutes and still nobody came.

"What do you think's going on?" Penelope asked. "We've been here for over 20 minutes and nobody else has turned up.

"Maybe it has something to do with everyone in Slytherin crying earlier. We should go back to the Great Hall to check."

"But we are only supposed to be here for lessons, we could get in trouble!"

"I know, Penelope. Come with me."

Luzia and Penelope went back to the ground level of the castle and went to the Great Hall. More girls were crying and all of the boys were comforting them. Professor McGonagall walked past and spoke.

"What are you two doing? Go inside and sit with Gryffindor."

Professor McGonagall walked past them and walked through the centre of the Great Hall. Luzia and Penelope went to sit with the fellow Gryffindor's and waited for Professor McGonagall to speak.

"Attention! Stop speaking please."

The kids stopped and stared.

"Some of you may know the news..."

"What news do you think that is?" Penelope whispered to Luzia. Luzia shrugged her shoulders.

"The news of Johnny Dipper and Vanessa Riddle going missing."

Children in the hall started whispering, crying and muttering to each other.

"We do not know who or what caused this. We are obviously going to be assuming the worst for now. There will now be a register passed around the hall for each house and this register will be taken daily in the Great Hall at the start and end of the day. I want you to write your name and age on it and then pass it to the person next to you."
