For The Love Of Janessa Part 10

Luzia and Penelope chilled out in the bedroom for an hour before it was dinner time.  There was a sudden rush of people in the common room going to the Great Hall.

"Maybe we should write back to mum-"

"Shh, Penelope. Someone might hear you."

"Sorry."

"Ok, we probably should though anyway. Want me to write it?"

"Yes."

Luzia sat up and got a blank piece of parchment out of her bag and a pen. "What should I write?"

"Ask her about what's going to happen to us and ask why she did what she did."

"Ok, I'll write something like that."

Dear mum, 

Me and Penelope received your letter, but we are confused. If you and dad are 'dead', then what will happen to us at Christmas or Summer holidays? Also, why did you do this? 

Love from Luzia and Penelope.

"Do you think this is good?" Luzia asked her sister.

Penelope moved over to Luzia's bed and read the letter.

"Yeah, send that."

"Ok, wanna go down the the Owlery with me?"

"Why not, I'm not hungry yet anyway."

"Ok, come on then, Penelope."

Luzia folded the letter up and stuffed it into her pocket, they then left the common room. The corridors and moving staircases were busy with students rushing out of lessons and quickly running to the Great Hall for dinner. Luzia and Penelope had to old hands to make sure they didn't get separated by children running around all over the place.

Once they got on the ground level, Luzia and Penelope left the castle through a door and walked towards the Owlery. Low and behold, when they entered the small building, Vanessa Riddle and Johnny Dipper were in there. Both of them ignored Luzia and Penelope when they walked in and continued to stroke Vanessa's owl on the back of the neck.

Penelope coughed and Vanessa looked up and Johnny turned around to face them.

"Oh, Hi Luzia and Penelope." Johnny said.

Luzia said nothing.

"Go away, Johnny. Me and Luzia are here to send a letter." Penelope told him which made Johnny frown a little.

"Why are you being mean to me again, Penelope?"

"I'm not. This is me being nice, now get out Johnny."

"I'm sorry to bother you, but Johnny and I were in here first. We are stroking my owl, if you don't like it then leave." Vanessa said politely in a French accent. 

"Well, sorry to bother you, but me and my sister need to send a letter as now both of our parents are dead!"

"No way!" Johnny interrupted. "Luzia, Penelope I am so sorry."

"Whatever, Johnny." Luzia said. "I'll wait outside."

Luzia passed Penelope the letter, turned around and walked out of the small room.

"Luzia, wait." Johnny shouted and followed her outside.

Vanessa and Penelope remained inside the small circular building and stared at each other.

"Maybe you should go to dinner, Vanessa."

"Fine! Good day to you" Vanessa said and walked out.

"I'm sorry about her, Luzia." Johnny said to Luzia outside.
