Heather POV
..............."Phew! Would you look at that!" Shin folded his arms as we watched a white Mercedes pull up to the curb. "Aren't we riding in style today."
"Ya think?" Annjaya snuggled into my side. She wasn't small, but her nervous energy was making her seem smaller than she really was. And she was still small. A petite and short girl that came up to the top of my breast.
"Well, she does have a rich father." I shrugged as the car came to a full stop in front of us.
"Alright you. In the backseat." Cheyanne kicked Kim out of the front seat.
The cute girl looked like a smaller version of Cheyanne. She was certainly cute. Even if she was the youngest out of three siblings.
Cheyanne was the oldest, and tried to help out her family whenever she could. And that included picking up and dropping off her brother and sister from games and other extracurricular activities.
And I was surprised when she called me around 3am saying, "Alright, I'll do it." She sounded so defeated on the phone. But right now she looked rather lively.
"Ah, you're going to make me sit in the back, while they..." Kim's eyes going wide and then moved up and down as she spotted Shin. "...Hot!"
He smirked at the girl and folded his arms. "So I get the front seat then?"
"It's okay puny hu- mortal! You can sit in the back seat with us!" Annjaya effortlessly slid in beside the girl who was still blushing and stealing glances at Shin.
And then when she saw Annjaya, a look of fear crossed her face as she shined against the opposite window. Even as the pixie girl wrapped an arm over her shoulder.
"She's right. You don't want to sit up there. It's no fun. Plus-" I leaned in and whispered, closing the door behind me, "He's too big to sit back here. I mean, look at those long legs."
Kim bit her lip as her eyes travelled downward to his legs. They were long and lean with some muscle.
"I guess so." She relented.
"Yay!" Annjaya hugged her. Kim paled and gave me a "help me" look. Annjaya not noticing continued,"You're now officially our prisoner until we let you off at the next stop."
"Annie." Cheyanne giggled as she pulled the car out of park. "You shouldn't say things like that. You're making the poor girl uncomfortable."
"She's right, you know." Shin nodded sagely. "There's no way she will buy your evil overlord act."
"Huh?" Annjaya blinked. She looked between me and Shin. "But isn't that my job? Muhahahaha!"
I bopped her over the head with the side of my fist.
"Owwie!" She pouted and rubbed the spot I hit. "What'd you do that for?"
"Can't you see how uncomfortable you really are making Kim?" I pointed to the girl who plastered herself against the window once she was free of Annjaya.
"So-Sorry, I was only..." She looked down like a child scolded.
"It's fine." I waved her off and turned my attention to the petrified girl. "Kim, you already know me. This crazy girl here. Her name is Annjaya. Annie for short. Annie, this is Kim."
"Hi." The girl narrowed her eyes at Annjaya. "Are you really plotting to take over the world?"
"Yup!" Annjaya's response was sunny and cheerful.
