Whew! I'm happy how this came out.
Yes, I know my writing style has changed over time. I'm strangely weirded out by the way I used to write. It feels weird, disconnecting even. I don't know how to describe it.
Pixies: I modelled pixies off wasps and bees. And in their culture, another pixie is viewed either a sibling, auntie or uncle, or grandparents. Hence why Annjaya started to refer to Heather as sister. I tried to make their relationship as sibling like as I could. And in bee hives or ant colonies, all of them are family.
Obviously, Eladrin is the queen of the colony. 😅
And now, for the third book in this series: The Broken Fey, Seal Unbound.
More fluff between Heather and her cute Cait Sidhe. Things are heating up between the Fey and the Pixies. And that danged dragon reappears. Who or what is the calico kitten? How does Heather break the punishment seal on Hopea? And moving house!
Heather's going to need a bigger house. For her, the kittens, and Annjaya.
Yes, Annie is here to stay.
Though, I'm going to take a break from this series and finish off one or some of my other projects first. I don't have a set date for the third book, but it won't be until December or early January (NaNo! Ahahaha!)
That said, thank you all for reading. I do appreciate it, even if I didn't think I was going to get so many reads. (I was thinking 10 at worst and 100 at the most).
