"Alright," Annabeth said. "First things first, introduce yourself."

"My name is Livana Corbin."

"Give me some background on you. Where did you grow up?"

"I grew up in Troyes, France with my dad," Livana said.

Annabeth nodded. "What is your dad's name?"

"My dad's name is Phillipe Le Wei."

"Did you have any childhood pets?"

"No, I did not have any childhood pets."

"What is your favorite food?" Annabeth asked.

Livana thought for a moment. "Hmm... my favorite food..."

"It's okay if you don't have one," Annabeth said. "You can answer with anything. This is just a test."

"Right," Livana said. "Okay. My favorite food is ahh...spaghetti."

"Ooh, big word there. Great pronunciation," Annabeth said.

"Thank you." Livana smiled.

"Alright, what are some of your hobbies?" Annabeth asked.

"My hobbies include listening to music and singing, sometimes I garden, and writing." Livana was a bit sheepish admitting some of them.

"Aw, I never get to hear you sing. I would love it if you would," Annabeth said.

Livana waved her hands in front of her. "No! It's so embarrassing! I'm not even that good."

"One day, maybe." Annabeth thought of another question. "What is your favorite color?"

"My favorite color is purple, but, well, red is nice too," Livana said.

"Favorite animal?"

"Cat!"

"Ah, full sentence," Annabeth scolded.

"Right, sorry." Livana blushed. "My favorite animal is a cat."

"What do you like to do over the summer?"

"I like to swim in the summer, but I haven't in a really long time."

"What do you like most about Camp Half-Blood?" Annabeth asked.

"I like the people the most!" Livana smiled.

Annabeth grinned. "That's nice." She looked down and scanned a few papers in her lap. "That's mostly it for the basic questions- oh, nevermind. I accidentally skipped a few lines. Sorry about that."

"It's okay!" Livana said.

Annabeth read over the questions, skimming through them multiple times to try and see through her dyslexia. "Okay, got it. Describe your looks."

"I have black hair. My skin is pale. I am short. Is that good?"

"Mhm, works fine. Now, when is your birthday?"

"My birthday is December twenty-fourth!" Livana answered.

Annabeth looked up from her papers. "You said what now?"

"Did I say it wrong?" Livana asked.

"No, not at all. Did you just pick a random date or is that your actual birthday?"

"It's my actual birthday..." Livana avoided Annabeth's gray eyes. "What's so wrong about it?"

"Nothing!" Annabeth said. "It's just that December twenty-fourth is literally tomorrow!"
