CHAPTER 8

LOVE BETWEEN RELIGION AND FAMILY

(ETHAN'S P. O. V)
It's too long for me to keep silence. I know aunt Viv is not that religious but if Bryan don't go to church with me she'll be definitely got mad to Bryan. This is my chance to be with Bryan again and took back our Cousin-Bestfriend relationship.
Today is Sunday so I decided to visit Bryan as early so that he will not refuse me to go to church. As I arrived I saw Jayvie outside so I called him and ask him to tell Bryan I'm here to pick him up. And Jayvie followed me. I am waiting for Bryan when I hear him shout so I, aunt Viv and uncle Priolo checked him.
"Bry whats going on?" Aunt Viv said, while I and uncle Priolo are behind Aunt Viv.
"Guys I'm okay I just have to shout okay!" He said so the three of us left. After a minute of waiting I saw Bryan going downstairs neatly with his white plain t-shirt paired with kaki jeans and a brown top sider shoes.
I opened the door of the car for him, I'm treating him nicely so that I could earn his love again. We're on my car when I saw a street food kiosk near the church so I decided to bring Bryan there after the mass. I and Bryan are both silent inside maybe both of us is waiting for who will create a conversation first.
As we arrive at the church the mass seems to start so we hurriedly look for our seat. After an hour the mass totally ended so I did the first move to create conversation with Bryan.
"Bry, let's eat my treat" I uttered.
"Uhm sure I'd Love it." He Uttered nicely and smile at me. The way Bryan smile at me make me realize how lucky I am having him as a cousin.
"Uhmmm want some street food? It's been a while since we haven't eaten street food together." I offered.
"Uhmmm sure I'd love to go back to the time you and I are close." He uttered and lowered his head. "Hopedullg we could" he added.
"uhmmm stop showing me that face Bry," I said and tap his shoulder. "I'm sure we could if we want too" I added. I saw Bryan smirk a lil bit, that makes me feel believe that everything would be fine.
"Okay okay Ethan lets just eat I'm starving" He said. And laughed. So I took him in a kiosk I saw A while ago.

(BRYAN'S P. O. V)
Ethan took me to church. We both silent in a car trying to wait for who would start a conversation up until we end up arriving in the church that no one started to talk. After the mass he started to talk to me. He ask me to eat and that makes me starve so I agreed. After realizing that my pride could not bring us back together.
Were on the kiosk and he order two cups of fishball, 2 cups of tempura and two drinks. I am at the table sitting and waiting for him to go back when Cris texted me.
"Bry cam we talk? I'm really sorry for what happened last night please talk to me." He said through text. Since I am With Ethan, I Ignores hid message. Because I want to fix my problem with Ethan first before our Problem.
"Bry here's our ffavourite Ethan appears in all of a sudden with our food. So I kept my phone and smile at Ethan "Thanks" I added.
"Bry, you know what, it's hard for me to leave you that time," He started seriously. "I'm just sixteen that time and I can disobey my parents so I have to" he added.
"I know that Than," I said. " But what make me angry is that you tell me to forget Eveeything especially our memories together." I added.
"I know, It's the only thing I know to do just to make you hate me and never wants to see me again. Honestly Bry, I feel the same feeling as you have that time, but I chooses our relationship as cousin because if we let our heart decide there will be a conflict " he explained.
"Than, that moment you tell me to forget you I tried. But I can't until I ended up having a boyfriend. But he lied to me. I want to fix our problem first before him. Because I know we will be together for a long time than him," I said "but it doesn't mean I don't love him, it's just that we're having issue right now." I added.
"Uhmmm.... Bryan, I'd like to take this opportunity to say my sincerest sorry for all that I've done, but hope you'll understand that we can't be a couple." He said while holding my hand. "All that I want is for us to go back to cousin-bestfriend relationship just like before." He added while tears are dropping from his eyes.
"Ethan, after all the experiences we had, who I am to bot forgive you? Than you know I used to love you and I will always forgive you brother" I said with a smile. "Now I'll pinch your nose and you will pinch mine too." I added so I pinch his nose symbolizes that I forgive him and he did the same thing as well. Ethan and I become best friends again just like before. And that makes me feel better. After forgiving Ethan he hugged me tightly and his tears started to drop as well as mine.
"Than stop crying your making me cry too. Just promise me whatever happened we'll always be best friend okay!" I uttered and hand him my Pinky swear
"Sure we will always be" he said and do pinky swear as well.
"Come on lets eat, the tempura is getting cold" I said and we both eat. Ethan seems to be so nice for me the whole time and it make me feel happy knowing that three years ago the love I felt for him is not worthless. After eating we both decided to go home so Ethan drive me home since he pick me up.
As we arrive at the house and right after we move out the car Cris appear and punches Ethan due to Ethan to lay down on the road.
"Is this the one you replace to me?" Cris shouted.
"Cris are you out of your mind? Why the hell did you do that? I shout back and help Ethan to stand up. "Ethan is my Cousin, Cris, please leave your just giving me a reason to not stay on our relationship." I shouted and push Crus away.
"Bryan!-" crus wants to say but I blocked his words.
"Cris I said leave. Don't ever comeback here. I can't see you for now," I said and take Ethan inside.

(CRIS' P. O. V)
I still can't forgive myself for causing trouble to Bryan. I texted him but he never reply, that night, I can't leave Shental because I am afraid She'd tell my mom about me and Bryan. So I choose to stay even I will hurt Bryan's Feeling.
I head off to Bryan's house but he's not there. When I saw a car that parked and Bryan with a guy goes out. Due to anger I ran to the guy and punch the guy.
"Is this the one you replace to me?" I shouted.
"Cris are you out of your mind? Why the hell did you do that?" Bryan said and help the guy stand up. "Ethan is my Cousin, Cris, please leave your just giving me a reason to not stay on our relationship." Bryan added and pushing me away. I tried to call him but he pushes me again.
After that incident happened I head home and saw my mom standing on the door waiting for me.
"Cris when do you want to tell me your into gays?" my mother angrily uttered.
"Mom, I.... I.... I want to tell you but all you wants for me is to be in church, be who I am without asking me If I'm okay, what my day went or even how's my schooling!" I shouted back and head off my room.
"Cris! All we want for you is the best and we don't raise you to be homosexual." Mom shouted but I ignored it. I'm on my room thinking who told mom about me and Bryan. I know that mom had ask someone about this, the first person who come up to my mind is Clifford so I ran out and head off to Clifford.
I head off to Clifford's house but Shemtal is there and no Clifford.
"Shental, is your brother hereP i just need to ask something important" I started.
"Cris, is this is all about who told your mother about you an Bryan, It is I who told her." She started. I can't believe she did that to me.
"But how did you know about us? And why did you do that to me? I thought you're my Best friend" I shouted and put my palm on my forehead.
"Cris, I'm sorry," she said and lowered her head, "I just did that because I'm into you, and I know your mother won't like that your partner is Gay like Bryan" She added and hel my hands.
"But why Shental? You mess up everything, everything I started to have someone in my life who could understand me and stand beside if I'm not okay at home, everything is gone all because of you Shen!" I uttered and cry. But shental hugged me tightly.
"Cris, after all I am the whose there for you but you haven't seen my worth, I am the whose there every time you have misunderstanding with your mom, I was the whose loving you I am Cris I am" She said and kissed me. So I stopped crying and surprisingly can't move for what Shental acted.
I and Shental kissed when Clifford appeared.
"Cris?!" He uttered, with his surprise. So Shental stop and defend us.
"Cliff it's me who kissed Cris it's not his fault." She said. Walking towards Cliff.
"No whoever fault is that it is wrong, because Cris has a partner and I know that," Clifford said and head off to his room
"Cris I'm really sorry," Shentall said and sut down on the couch. "Crus it is I who told your mom about you, after hearing you and Bryan fought that night on my birthday, I don't want to tell your mom but I was afraid." She added.
"But how did she knew it?" I asked.
"She called me last night wants to greet me a happy Birthday, when she asked about you, I said your having a fight with a guy and when you hugged him I said your arguing with you partner" She said while not looking at me. I haven't said any words, with my anger I left and drove home.
I am driving so fast crying and no one to talk to wren I accidently bumped into a post. My eyesight becomes blurry, I can't feel anything on my legs and I'm slowly loosing my consciousness.
