The air is hot, filled with the scent of apple pie and milkshakes. A soft hum fills the air from booths lined around the diner, happy kids and tired parents. Gazing up from the register, Sebastian is surprised to find Lily entering the diner, accompanied by a blonde girl around her height that wears a kind smile.

"Sebby, hey." Greets Lily, smiling ear to ear. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."

Smiling, Sebastian giggles. "Hey, yeah. Classes are so full on we hardly see anything of each other anymore."

"Oh, this is my friend Florence." Lily gestures to the blonde girl, elbowing her side. "This chick has taken far too long to get over here in Brooklyn."

Florence rolls her eyes, elbowing Lily back. Sebastian can't help but laugh at the interaction. "What can I get for the two of you?" Sebastian asks. "My boss will kill me if I just stand here talking."

Snorting, Lily throws her head back. "I love you, dude. We'll just have two cheeseburgers and two chocolate milkshakes."

Typing it into the tablet, Sebastian hands back the girls change, nodding for them to take a seat. "Your food will be ready shortly."

Once the two girls are out of view, a man steps forward, rather too close for comfort and has Sebastian rearing back slightly. "Hi.. what can I get for you?" He asks, clearing his throat to get rid of the shake in his voice. Upon appearance, he looked like a nice guy, but the way he stood so close, and the way in which his eyes were looking at Sebastian, it made him feel uneasy.

"Just an orange juice, thanks." Mutters the man, suddenly familiar. He looked to be Sebastian's age, possibly someone from his year group back in high school.

Taking the man's money, Sebastian offers over his change, freezing slightly when the other's hand encloses around his own, smirking. "Keep the change." With that, he walks off to a free booth, leaving Sebastian frozen in place.

His heart was pounding against his chest, hands suddenly shaky. What on earth? Sebastian thinks to himself, shivering. Putting away the change, Sebastian gazes over at the tv in the far corner of the diner, taking in the football game. He could see Chris in his usual stance, focused as ever, with Liam and Matthew close by. Their team was down a few points, but there was no doubt in Sebastian's mind that they would be able to turn the game around.

Even though he knew he could easily catch glimpses of the game at work, Sebastian had Nathan record it at home so he could watch it back, be able to properly cheer Chris and the team on.

"They seem to be doing pretty well out there." Lucy says from behind him, patting his shoulder. "What number is Chris?"

"Eighteen." Responds Sebastian, easing into the touch. "They are losing by a few points, but I'm sure they can turn it around."

Bumping their hips together, Lucy smiles. "Look at you, being a supportive boyfriend. Chris is very lucky to have his very own cheerleader back home."

A giggle sounds at the back of Sebastian's throat, and he shakes his head, glad to have Lucy here to shake off his bad mood. "I suppose he is lucky, but I am too."

"Go take your break, lovey." Lucy says, snagging the hat from atop Sebastian's head. "You look like you need some air."

Nodding, Sebastian does as he is told, removing his apron and walking out of the diner. It was beginning to get rather suffocating in there, especially after his rather strange encounter with that man. It was almost as though he had been watching Sebastian since he sat down.

Rounding the corner, the hairs on the back of Sebastian's neck stand up at the sound of footsteps behind him. With one gaze over his shoulder, the blonde haired man is just a few feet away, eyes directly on Sebastian's body like a target. In an instant, Sebastian's heart is racing, hands shaking.
