Chris couldn't believe that he was excited for Monday to finally roll around. Chris was never ever excited about school, only when he got to see Sebastian. The only good thing about his weekend was their FaceTime, but even that only lasted a couple of hours considering they had only just started classes and texted about most of their week already.

For some reason, Chris couldn't help but think that something was bothering Sebastian. He seemed a lot more down than usual, even when talking about work and Lucy being glad Chris wasn't able to give him any hickeys which would have made him laugh. Chris put it down to him just missing Chris. Surely it was just that.

They would get used to it, though. Sebastian was even making plans to come over and see Chris in the next few weekends. That would be great.

Once morning practice was over, Chris was buzzing. He quite enjoyed getting up early and doing drills and runs and practice games with his teammates. No matter how annoying they could be. Especially Liam and his constant train of thought being that the older guys wanted to kill him. Max definitely forgot to tell him how paranoid the guy was.

Chris's classes were Introduction to Exercise Science and Psychology of Physical Activity. Thankfully those were the only ones of the day, one straight after the other so he had the rest of the day to himself. Which then meant that Liam and some of the other guys would raid their dorm room and Chris would have to hide all his pictures of him and Sebastian kissing.

Chris hated it. Lying. He wanted to be able to be himself, to be able to openly say that he was in love with a boy who was the sweetest human being in the world. Who had been through so much hurt and pain and all he wanted to do was be happy and to stay positive.

Sebastian still had his moments of hesitation of course. And Chris understood that sometimes all Sebastian needed was either a hug or to be left alone. Chris sighs just thinking about him. God, he couldn't wait to see Sebastian.

Chris remembers back to when Sebastian had introduced Chris to Nathan, Georgeta's super sweet boyfriend. Sebastian was hunching his shoulders and rubbing nervously at his arm most of the time, which Nathan stopped in an instant with just a few  words. "It's okay. Your happy, so I'm happy. Love who you want to love, Seb. I'll always stand behind you." Chris remembers when Nathan spoke those words, Sebastian was frozen. He wasn't shown acceptance from his biological 'father', he wasn't used to it. And it hurt Chris to see his lover break down and not be able to let Nathan go. Because he finally found someone, a father figure, no, a father, who understood and accepted him.

Sebastian deserved every second of love and acceptance from everyone around him. He deserved the whole world. He deserved to become one of the greatest artists alive, to live in a beautiful home, to wear a beautiful ring that Chris would give to him when they hit the 'appropriate' age. That Chris would give to him after asking those four words. Will you marry me?

Chris couldn't stop thinking about it. Only could he stop when Max threw a shirt at his face and told him the guys were on their way. Chris's eyes widen and he leaps from his bed, rushing around the dorm to collect all the photos and album with the help of max to hide in a box under Chris's bed.

"Why don't you just tell them already?" Max asks softly, taking one of the framed photos of Chris and Sebastian at prom from his desk. "If you don't they might find out on their own."

Chris sighs, shaking his head. "I dunno.. I just.. I'm not ready and neither is Seb. We might tell them when he comes over in a few weekends."
