Dropping back onto his bed, Chris lets out a deep sigh. Classes were finally over, as was football practice for two weeks. Tomorrow, Chris would be driving home to see his family and Sebastian, and he couldn't wait.

Pulling his phone from his pocket, Chris turns it back on. To get through the day, he had decided to turn the device fully off, that way he could stay focused and get work done fast. When the screen flicks on, Chris's heart drops.

10 missed calls from: PUP

5 missed calls from: SCARLETT

SCARLETT: Dude what the hell!?

SCARLETT: Answer your phone!!

SCARLETT: Emily just attacked Sebastian in the park! He needs you!

Fumbling with the password, Chris dials Sebastian's number, pacing back and forth. No. No. No. No. This wasn't supposed to happen. Emily was supposed to be gone. Out of their lives for good.

"Hello?"

"Seb!" Chris cries, sighing in relief. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry! My phone was off. Are you okay?"

Sebastian scoffs slightly, voice groggy with tears. "I'm fine. Get back to whatever it is that you're doing."

The line goes dead. Chris's heart begins to race. What was that supposed to mean?

In a matter of minutes, Chris's bag was packed and thrown into Max's car. He texts Max a quick explanation and apology, before hitting the road. Everything was okay. Everything had to be okay. It had to be. Sebastian was strong. He would get through this.

The drive is far too long, filled with anxiety and speeding. Chris pulls the car into Sebastian's driveway, ripping out the keys, locking the car and running up the stairs. Chris knocks rapidly at the door, heart pounding in his ears. He was desperate to see the damage done to Sebastian, to see if he was okay, if he was safe. The door creaks open slowly and Chris takes a step back, eyes widening in shock and fear at the sight of a shaking Sebastian before him. His eyes were lined with bags, bruises and cuts littering his tear stained face.

"Seb.. are you.. are you okay?" Chris whispers, waiting for Sebastian to open the door wider so he could storm inside and gather the smaller in his arms. "Scarlett told me-"

Sebastian cuts him off, voice soft and shaky as he speaks, hand gripping tightly at the door handle. "I'm fine." He tries to close the door, not wanting to speak on what happened nor did he want Chris to see him like this.

Chris shoots his arm out and stops the door from closing, scaring poor Sebastian into another round of shakes. "Hey, what's wrong?" Chris asks, pushing the door open.

"It's nothing." Sebastian mutters, voice cracking. "I'm fine, just.. leave me alone. Please." The soft please at the end has Chris's heart breaking and anger soaring through his veins. Emily had a lot coming her way after putting Sebastian through this.

"No." He states sternly, Sebastian flinching at the authoritative tone. "You're not fine, what's wrong?" Chris, knowing Sebastian was home alone, pushes past him and inside of the clean home, parking himself in front of Sebastian in the hallway. "Talk to me Seb, I hate seeing you like this."

Sebastian scoffs coldly, shutting the door and turning to face Chris with anger in his gaze. "Fine." Sebastian mutters, clenching and unclenching his fists to try and stop them from shaking. "You don't call, you don't text, especially when I really need someone to talk to."

"I'm sorry, what?" Chris asks, confused, eyebrows furrowed. "What's going on right now? An interrogation?"

Sebastian breathes out deeply, bringing his hands to his hair to tug at painfully, a coping mechanism to keep him grounded, to keep him from screaming and bursting into tears. "What's going on, huh? I'll tell you what's going on." Sebastian hisses. He was furious. It scared Chris, he had never seen Sebastian angry. Ever. And to think he's angry at him.. "While you haven't called or texted me for weeks, Emily and her friends have been stalking me everywhere I go!" He yells. "They-
