Sebastian was sat on his bed, staring lazily up at the ceiling as he awaits the FaceTime call from Chris. His laptop was perched on top of one of his larger art pads, open and on the FaceTime app.
The rest of the drive home was a disaster. Sebastian couldn't stop blubbering, cheeks splotched from the never ending tears. His breathing was coming out more so as wheezes and his nose was clogging with snot. Georgeta could barely calm him down.
So when he got the text from Chris, he couldn't help but feel a large amount of glee flood through his veins. His love was okay and seemed happy.
The ringtone of a call cuts through Sebastian's thoughts and he flips onto his stomach, quickly pressing accept. He sits up fully, crossing his legs, and places his head in his hoodie covered hands, waiting cutely.
"Hey baby." Chris greets with a happy smile as the call connects, placing his laptop in front of him on his desk. "How are you?"
Sebastian smiles tiredly. "Hey." He whispers, rubbing his eyes with the backs of his hands. "I'm good. Is Max not there or something?"
Chris shakes his head. "No, he's over there on his bed." He points behind him where Max is looking up from his phone.
Sebastian felt a sudden sick feeling hit his stomach. He hears shuffling, then sees Max on the screen, smiling and waving. "Hiya."
Sebastian looks over at Chris whom was smiling, then back at Max. "I- wha-" he stammers out, gulping down breaths.
"Seb, it's okay." Chris soothes, "he knows."
Max nods. "And I don't mind one bit."
Sebastian releases a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, placing a hand over his racing heart. "Okay." Sebastian whispers, nodding. "Okay."
"You okay now?" Chris asks.
"Yeah." Sebastian mutters. "Nearly had a panic attack, but I'm fine."
Max smiles kindly. "Well, I'll leave you two love birds to it. And don't worry, I'll put headphones in." He winks at them before belly flopping onto his bed.
Sebastian looks at Chris, an unreadable expression on his face. "What?" Chris asks innocently. "Why do you look like you wanna hit me?"
Sebastian tilts his head. "A nice heads up would've been good, babe." He says like it's obvious. "You scared me!"
Chris chuckles awkwardly. "Yeah.. sorry, baby."
"It's fine." Sebastian waves him off, snuggling deeper into Chris's hoodie. "Do you have classes tomorrow?"
"No, actually. I have to wait till Monday."
"Oh, that's odd. Why?"
"I guess to get us used to campus and if anyone wasn't able to move in yet." Chris replies. "What about you? Are you and Maia starting tomorrow?"
Sebastian yawns with a small nod. "Yeah. I'm quite nervous."
Chris smiles. "You'll do great. I heard that when you guys are doing projects, you have full access to the different studios and stuff. Well, that's what Maia said."
