"She's losing a lot of blood. With the way it is coming out of her, I don't know if we'll make it to the OR to save her life. Get all the blood bags that you can get in the OR now!"

"Work with me goddamnit. I will not lose a life today!"

"We don't know how extensive the injuries are to her brain until she wakes up. It's possible that she could have little to no memory left. Or it could be that she wakes up with it completely intact. There's no way to tell right now since she's still unconscious, especially since it was her head that took most of the trauma more than anything."

"honey, Mommy's here. Please wake up. Oh my baby girl. Please, wake up."

"Unnie, you have to fight. Please, just wake up. My wife's not doing so great and she keeps blaming herself for this. I could really use your help in convincing her it's not her fault."

"Unnie, I'm so sorry. I never meant for this to happen. I never meant to cause you into an accident..."

"Honey...your mother is in asylum now. She won't bother us anymore so please wake up."

"Oh my daughter, It's been two months and you're still lying in this bed unconscious. The doctor's can't explain why you're still lying here and not up and talking. But you take all the time you need so you can come back to us whole."

"No, Chaeng. I am not going to leave her side. I was the one who put her here. If you really care for me, you would understand."

"It's been 4 months. Do you think she'll ever wake up?"

"Honey, You have to come back to us. It's been half a year. I know you're in there. I know you can hear all of us talking about you and you're probably hurt, I understand but please don't leave us. Come back"

"We really don't know if she'll wake up at this point. She has been unconscious for 8 months. The good part is that she still has brain activity, which means there is still a possibility for her to wake up, but we don't know when it will happen. I'm sorry."

"It's been a year. I know this is going to be difficult, but I think the options of taking her off the ventilator and the machines would be something to be considered. Her brain activity is very minimal, almost nonexistent. I'm very sorry."

"Do you honestly think this is the best thing to do? She's my only daughter, my first born. I can't lose her... She's the only one I have..."

"They're planning on turning off the machines keeping you alive..."

"It's official. On Friday they're taking you off the machines... Honey, can you please wake up? Baby, don't leave your mommy..."

"Are you sure about this?"

"We don't have many more choices. We have to do what's best for her and keeping her alive, will only hurt you all more in the end."

A piercing scream filled her ears. It was high pitched and it would not stop. She looked around trying to find the source of it, until she realized it was her letting out that god-awful sound. She tried to stop herself, but it just kept going on, with her hands struggling to remove the tubes and wires that were connected to various body parts.

She felt the aches and sores, and flashes of something bright ran through her mind making her rubbed her eyes..

When it stopped, she opened her eyes and untangled herself from all the wires and such, she swallowed down the scream tearing from her tired vocal chords. She tried to move off the bed, but her muscles were mush.
