Clary's POV:
I hear shuffling around me. My head hurts so bad and all I can hear is ringing. I stirr and try to cover my ears. It's just so loud. My hands and feet seem so heavy and I can't move them. My vision goes from black to blurry. I turn my head to look to see where I am, excited have my vision back.
Then I turn to see jace. Omg I remember who jace is. I remember the shadow world. I remember everything. I try to speak but my voice is raspy and it hurts.
I manage to finally push out a small word
"Jace.?"
He looks as if he's about to cry.
"Yes clary its me jace!" He says with a smile.
"IZZY GET IN HERE SHES AWAKE" I hear him scream.
I wonder what happened. Why am I back at the institute. And why does everything hurt. I see Izzy rush in. To try and greet her I manage the strength to push myself up onto the backboard of the bed. Jace rushes to my side seeing that I almost lost my balance.
"Everything feels heavy." I say to jace as he lets out a small chuckle.
"Fainting and almost dying will do that to you"
He says still smiling.
I almost died? How? I was just at the art show when I saw jace. I don't remember much apart from that, it's all just kinda hazy.
Izzy rushes over to me and gives me a hug. As she pulls me in for a hug I see my arms.
My runes. I have my runes back!
"Jace look!" I say as I point to my arms and shoulder.
"Yeah silly. Those came back in your sleep. We don't know why yet but I'm just happy your home!" He says holding my hand tightly. I feel electric sparks rush up my body. Like a connection,
Man I missed having jace being so protective. I missed him subconsciously and I didn't even know it.

After everyone came in to say hey and tell me to never scare them like that again, I stood up and walked around. My legs still felt weak but I could manage.
I see jace right behind me making sure I don't fall.
"Um excuse me gentlemen but I think I can walk" I say with a smirk as I give him a playful shove.
"Oh well sorry for being worried" he shoots back with a smile.
