Clary's POV:

I looked up from my hospital bed to see jace sleeping. It had been a rough couple days. I was still fighting off demon venom but Im being discharged tommorw. And I still haven't told Jace that I'm pregnant. But he already knows. It's a weird situation to be in.
I then feel a burst of energy rush through me.
I really wanted to train. It had been about two weeks since I had even touched a stele or a weapon.
slowly, I swung my legs over my bed and quietly dropped myself on my feet. Tiptoeing so I don't wake up Jace. I would never hear the end of this.
I then shut the door behind me and made my way down the long corridor. It was around 4am so no one was awake yet. And if they were they were on mission.
The training room was just ahead. I ran my hand along the doorknob and pushed it down.
Cool air enveloped my face and the strong smell of metal wafted in my nostrils.
I made my way over to the weapons and picked up my signature daggers. Quickly I turned around and flung them perfectly onto the two red targets.
Reaching into my pocket I grabbed my stele. The cold metal felt like home in my fingers. I ran it across my stamina rune and instantly felt refreshed.
I then bolted towards the targets, flipping over them and grabbing my daggers mid air. I did my fighting sequence and ended in the last pose. I then glanced up to see Isabelle. Shoot.
I dropped my daggers on the spot and stood there with my mouth open

"Boom dead" a male voice said behind me, as I felt metal along my back.
I snapped around to see Alec with a smirk on his face with his arms crossed.

"Hey guys.." I said while rubbing the back of my neck.

"Your supposed to be in bed." Izzy replied back also with arms crossed.

"Yeah I just got lost on my way to the bathroom." I lied. It was a awful lie. I knew that.

"Mhm bathroom." Alec said still smiling.

"Ok I'm sorry but I couldn't wait anymore." I whined but a wave of tiredness and nausea washed over me. Yeah it might not have been the best idea.
I grabbed my stele and ran it back over my stamina rune and my iratze. Alec and Izzy both watched though I hoped they didn't see.

"And but the looks of it you should of. Come on. Jace is looking for you and you need to be in bed."  Izzy said as she pointed to the door.

"Wait jace is looking for me?! Where. He can't know I'm here." I stated. He would literally never let me out of his sight.

"At the greenhouse. But if you don't hurry he might check in here too. Come on." Alec said pushing me along. I couldn't help but smile at how perfect it was that we were all back again.
I missed them all.
Another wave of nausea washed over me. This time it was about the baby. And I knew it wouldn't go away.

"I- I have to go to the bathroom. I'll find my way back to the infirmary in a minute." I said.
As I walked a little to quickly to the bathroom.
I threw the door open and shut it behind me.
I opened the toliet lid and hung over it. feeling extremely sick. eventually after I didn't throw up I stood up and washed my hands.
I then caught a glance at myself in the mirror.
I had a huge reddish purple scar that ran down my neck. And Jace was right. It did look badass.
But it didn't do much for my small figure.
I dryed my hands and opened the door to see Alec standing there. I jumped back and felt my heart in my chest beat a thousand times a minute.
"Omg Alec Jesus. I get it I'll go back to the infirmary." I said with my hand on my chest trying to catch my breath.

"How long have you been pregnant." He said straight faced.
All the color drained out of my skin. My blood ran cold. How did he know?

"I- I um- I have no idea what your talking about Alec." I stuttered over my words.

"There's no point in lying. How long?" He said more sternly this time.

"about a month" I just say extremely quiet.

"Is it jaces or is it someone from your mundane life."

"Jaces. I never did any of that as a mundane." I said.
"Alec you can't tell him. I want to. And I'm going to but I just found out."

"I believe you. And I won't tell him." Alec said as he pulled me into a hug.
It was nice to be hugged. I just relized I haven't had any besides jaces and Izzy's since I got back.
I was about to say something when the alarms started going off.
A breech in the wards.
Me and Alex just looked at each other before running down the hall.
Because why could anything be normal around here?
