-Asami's POV-

"Asami sweetheart?" I laid in my bed sleeping. Who could be calling my name now? It's the middle of the night. "Asami baby wake up." I felt my body being shaken. "mmm What? Who's there?" my eyes half open and I rub them trying to wake up. "Asami... ASAMI!" My eyes shoot open and I sit up. I look around and in front of me in my room I see my mother. "M-mommy?" I ask and she grabs my hands. "I don't have much time, you need to listen to me." She whispers and I stare at her. "How are you here? You died 5 years ago Mommy.." I whisper and she cups my face.

"I'm not dead Asami." She says and I tilt my head to the side. "You have to find me! I have so much to tell you. So much to apologize for. I'm still in Musutafu. Look up my name! My maiden name Asami. I'm still here." She says and I shake my head. I used to have dream like this all the time after Mommy and Daddy first died, these are just figments of my imagination. "You're not really alive mommy... You died in a fire after getting in a car crash 5 years ago." I say and she holds my hands tighter. "I know your brother got arrested." She says and I stare at her.

"I found out everything he's done to you, now that he's gone I can finally come back! I'm alive Asami I promise this isn't a dream! It's me, My quirk Asami! Astral-Projection! I tried to do this years ago remember?" She asks and I stare at her. "mommy?" I cup her face and stand up. "You have to go find me." She tells me and I nod. "I- I will!" I say and she nods. "I love you baby. I'll be waiting ok?" She walks to the balcony and opens the door.

"N-No! Mommy wait you can't leave!" I yell at her and walk to her. "I have to go, But if you find me we can be together again." She says and I shake my head. "But what if I can't do it?" I ask and she steps outside. "You have to." She says and Starts to fade away. "NO! Mommy! Stop it you can't leave! Stop it" I yell trying to grab after her but she fades away. "MOMMY! NO COME BACK!"

"ASAMI!" Shoto shakes me awake and I scream jolting awake in Shoto's bed. I was crying, Sweating and shaking. Was that really just a dream? it was so real... "Hey what happened?" Shoto cups my face and I look at him. "W-what time is it?" I ask sitting up. He turns on his table lamp and looks at me. "It's 4 am." He yawns and I rub my eyes. "Oh man.." I whip my sweaty forehead and he grabs my body pulling my onto his lap.

"What happened?" He asks and I shrug. "I had a dream? It wasn't really a nightmare I wasn't scared." I say and he nods. "It was my mom, She was telling me to find her. She's somewhere in the city..." I say and he quriks an eyebrow. "Asami... You parents both died 5 years ago." He says and I nod. "No that's what I said! But she said she's here, She came to tell me to find her. Her quirk, AstralProjection. She came to tell me to get her!" I say and he cups my cheek.

"Ok... I think maybe you're under a lot of stress right now. After everything with your brother, starting your new classes, you've been planning the wedding, We have our rehearsal dinner next week you know? I think maybe it's all getting to you. It's been a lot." He rubs my back and I shake my head. "No well, Yeah I've been a little stressed but not more than I normally am! She knew that Akio got arrested, how else would she know that?" I ask and he smiles a little sympathetically. "Asami baby... It was just a dream, You know your brother was arrested and you somehow manifested that into your mother telling you." He says and I go to speak but stop.

"It's alright.." He whisper and hugs me. I hug him back and we sit for a second. "But... it felt real." I whisper and he rubs my back. "You've been doing so much. I think you just need to see your mom." He says and I nod. "y-yeah your right. it was just a dream." I say and he hugs me tighter. "I'm proud of you though." He says and I chuckle. "For what?" I ask and he smiles. "You've worked so hard, done so much in these last 5 months I've known you. And we're getting married in 2 weeks. I'm graduating next week, you're turning 18 in a few days.... you've done so much." He says and I smile.

"It's all thanks to you." I say and he laughs. "This is all you." He cups my face and I smile. I rub my thumb over his scar and stare at him. "Is it too late for me to ask how you got this?" I ask and he smiles. "My mother gave it to me." He says and my eyes widen. "What? But doesn't she have an ice quirk? You father would make more sense." I say and he nods. "My mother and father were in an arranged marriage as well." He says and I gasp. "Really?" I ask and he nods. "He was abusive, forced her to have more and more children till they got one with a dual quirk. Me." He says and I frown.

"I'm my fathers perfect creation, I was made to succeed him." He says and I just listen. "My brother Touya died because his body was too weak to handle his quirk. And he was neglected pretty much after I was born anyways. My father was abusive. Pushed everyone over the edge. After Touya died my mom went a little off the deep end. My father trained me always day in and day out. I barley got to spend time with my siblings, and when my mother tried to interfere she'd only get hurt. My father drove her insane." He touches my hand over his scar and I nod.

"One night my mother was on the phone with her mother... She was making a pot of tea in the kitchen. She said she couldn't stand my father. She couldn't bear to look at him... in my left side all she saw was him. Me and My mom used to be best friends, we did everything together when I wasn't training. But in turn since she couldn't stand to look at him... she couldn't tolerate my left eye either..." He says and I frown. "She poured the pot of boiling water on my left eye..." He says and I gasp.

"My father sent her away, I didn't talk to her till I was a first year again.Now we are closer but it took a long to forgive. I'm still working on it. Same with my father." He says and I nod. "That's so kind of you... To forgive." I say and hug him. "I don't want to be mad at them forever. It's hard yes but it's healthy." He says and I smile. "You're so amazing." I say and he laughs. "I love you Shoto." I say and kiss his lips. I kiss his scar and he grabs my hand kissing it. "Get some sleep alright?" He says and I nod. "I will. Thank you for talking to me." I say and he nods. He turns off the lamp and we get back under the covers. We cuddle together and I let out a sigh. That dream... It was so real but... I have to let it go. It's just that. A dream...
